Durable and less expensive to maintain.

The vehicle has never given me any major problem and it is durable, effective and cheaper to maintain. The vehicle was purchased used in 2015 and since then I never had any major problems.

The biggest xxx i've ever driven in my life

The 2002 through 2007 Altimas have a problem where the cheaply made catalytic converter breaks down due to excessive heat from the motor, and because the 2.5 engine has an overlapping valve system instead of a typical EGR that most cars have , the cat material gets sucked into the motor, causing extensive oil use that will eventually lead to catastrophic engine failure.

Most comfortable peppy car with plenty of room

Would but another one in a heartbeat! I almost did because of the reliability and great gas mileage. That car had great pick up speed and handled like a dream

Great car!

I owned a Nissan Altima for 15 years. What a great car it was! My only complaint was the paint. I had many issues with rust. Now, living in the Poconos, PA, winters (i.e. salt on the roads), must be hard on any car. However, I do believe that Nissan has some issues with rust overall. Besides that, the Altima is a sharp, sporty car with lots of interior room---even the back seat.

Better than expectred

I never owned nor liked Nissan cars. But being in a pinch and needing a car ASAP I came across an 2003 Altima. The condition of the cars is excellent and I couldn't beat the value so I purchased it as an offer I couldn't refuse. I own the car for two weeks now and am very happy with the ride, comfort and mpg. I am now a Nissan fan.

2003 Altima SE

Inherited my wife's 03 Altima in 2013 after she stole the new car we bought for my use! Overall the car was good and pretty reliable. The few issues we had weren't really because of the car. A few times it wouldn't start, but that was due to battery cocorrosion. We drug our feet on fixing an oil leak. The first guy didn't do a good job but the second mechanic did the trick and no more issues and with minimal expense. Later the car wouldn't start but we were just ready to get something new. Sold it to a guy at church in 2016 who donated it to one of the pastor's daughters and they loves it. The issue was a quick fuel pump. A little paint on the front bumper and it was good to go! I cleaned it up really nice and everyone said it was the cleanest car they'd ever seen. She later totaled it, but they said it was running great. It had about 225k miles on it when we sold it.

I loved my car. It was cute and had that trademark Nissan power. My suggestion is to drive for yourself.
