Explore the 2003 Nissan Altima

The best car I've owned!

I have previously owned a 1990 Oldsmobile Cuttlass Ciera, and an Pontiac Grand Prix. I got rid of the Grand Prix, after something happened to it (best not to discuss). So when I went to the dealer I wanted to buy the 2002 Hyundai XG350 but they had already sold it (12 grand with 34k miles), so I was kind of upset but i looked around and found a beautiful gold 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. The engine is unexpectingly powerfull for a 4 Cylinder and the room seems as big as my mother 06 Lucerne. The air gets cold and the heat gets hot after you let it heat up/cool down. The standard stereo is awsome too! Sounds like an free bose minus about 20% of the bass and sound range. The exterior looks so pretty, and after 3 years of this car being out it still turns heads, i bought mine used and I love it! The only dislikes is how ABS was not standard so i did not get it, along with the side impact and curtain airbags. I also did not like how the cupholder felt so cheap! Even though it isnt the top of the line and everything and it isn't fully equiped it doesn't matter once you notice the looks, ride, and comfort. Its like those 3 things overlook every disadvantage! I'm totally pleased with me 03 Altima, its Gold outside with Charcoal interior.

3.5 SE with Leather Package

I was looking at Accords and Camrys New and used and by chance test drove an 05 Altima and loved it so I looked at soem more Altimas. Then finally found my 2003 3.5SE. Nissan handles and looks so much better than Honda and Toyota. It is alot bigger and sportier than the V6 accord. I can believe I was thinking about buying the accord. No problems as of yet. All around great Car.

Awesome styling, of exterior

I really enjoy this vehicle, it's handling is awesome around corners. It's body style is great. I enjoy the seats, as they are comfortable. I give this car a 4 star rating over all. Nissan is overall the finest vehicle made, as far as I am concerned, the engines are strong and made to perform.

Great Family Car

I own the 3.5 version and all around it is great. Exception speed and comfort. Rear seat can handle two adults of any size. Only minor complaint is interior noise.

Love it

I have an 03 Nissan Altima, and I would recommend it to ANYONE and EVERYONE. It's so nice, and drives very smoothly. The exterior somehow always stays clean, and is very easy to wash. Looks great. I've had the car for 9 months, and still feel like I just purchased it yesterday.

A Car worth far more than the price suggest

I expected this car to be at least in the range of a Honda Accord if not more because of its features, its style, size and power yet it was far cheaper than I anticipated. The car is very roomy to comfortably go on road trips with the whole family or a bunch of friends. Power is excellent. 175 is plenty for most drivers far more than any other mid-size cars. I've had minor issues with the trunk and AC, but nothing to be too concerned about.

My Altima 2.5 SL

I bought my Nissan Altima based on looks alone and was pleasantly suprised by how great a decision it was. I got the pearl exterior with tan leather interior, it's beautiful. The best part though is how nice it rides. I drive around visiting my clients all week and I have to say its the nicest "office" I've ever had! Everyone always wants me to drive on long trips as well because of the heated seats, the bose premium sound, the smooth ride, the generous leg room and the awesome gas mileage. The side curtain air bags make me feel safer as well. It also holds it's value exceptionally well. I am getting ready to sell it (I don't want to, but my large dogs and kayak require me to get an suv or wagon) and I am noticing that may payoff is actually LESS than the average asking price for my model and miles. If you are on the fence about this car, I say come on over to my side. Its a gem!

Plenty of Power in the Altima 3.5 SE

The Altima 3.5 SE has a manual transmission with O/D and a V-6 engine, which give it lots of power on the road. After test driving many cars, I selected this one because of its combination of superior performance, quick acceleration (it beats cars like BMW and Mercedes on the German autobahn), beauty and style. It's truly a great car.
