2014 Nissan Altima consumer reviews

We considered Nissan like most of the makes available in the Milwaukee area. Eventually we were under a time constraint as we wanted a new car to use for a trip to Florida. We settled on the Altima S based upon my review stars given (all 5's). We never owned a Nissan prior to this purchase. We just got back from a 4000 mile trip lasting 3 weeks. The car performed exceptionally. We averaged 34 mpg. The "gravity seats" were not just some fancy name for an adjustable seats, but really added comfort to a long trip. We exited the car after driving 8 hours with no backaches. We love the car.

Great car. Only 2 things I would change. The iterior fabric especially on the doors shows every piece of lint and dust, would have made it vinyl. Also you can't see the trunk when backing up so hard to just distance between cars.

Purchased 2014 Altima SL 2.5 from Ted Russell Nissan in Knoxville, TN. So far I love it. Very comfortable to drive and I am a big person, (over 6 foot and 250 lbs) Smooth ride and averaging 27 mpg local. Nice luxuries such as moonroof, SXM Radio, Nissan Connect and navigation. Heated seats and remote start are nice on cold mornings. I would recommend.

Our sales person, Gary Showers, was exceptional in listening to us and aiding us in our needs. He was knowledgeable, courteous and attentive without being pushy. He took time, on his day off, to explain everything to us about the car in great detail. I would recommend him to our family, friends and anyone considering a nissan without hesitation.

This is my 4th Nissan in 12 years...I love the reliability and the performance, as well as the fuel mileage. The only thing disappointing to me this time is that cruise control is not standard...I mean really? I remember when a/c's were an "option"...now they are standard. I had test drove the car around the block from the dealership in the rain, at night...Didn't realize til the next day on my way to work that there was not cruise control. Too late at that point...I was stuck with a car that I wouldn't be happy with....as I spend 10-20 hours a week driving. The dealership stepped up and had it installed...so...I'm back to being happy with my new car.

Just bought new 2014 Altima...853 miles..needs new transmission...Lord help me..hope the state lemon law can kick in..very concerned about long term reliability

I took my first trip in my 2.5SL AND WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH COMFORT and with the way the auto handled. What was most surprising was the road mileage. The salesman and the sticker said 38 mpg on highway driving. We drove with the cruise control at 65 mph and our mileage was a shocking 43.5 mpg. We are extremely pleased with the cars handling, very responsive to the touch.

All in all an excellent purchase. Loved the comfort and the soundprofing. Hope it lasts. Very agressive pricing on 2014s led us to the right color and oprions.

car drives so smooth is comfortable and when it is started is the most quietest car. Love the style of the body of the car. The leather seats are extremely comfortable. the inside of the car is very nice. Cant even feel the car shift gears. Like the dash lights very easy to see. The bose radio system is very loud and crisp. Blue tooth is very user friendly. will never drive anything else
