Interior design

Good car. I intend to keep this car as long as it is running. Very comfortable except for the chrome on the dash. Reflects too much sun and is hard on the eyes.

My first car

Had an 06 Altima as my first car. Handed down to my brother with almost 200k miles. In 12 years had 2 minor issues. Just got a 2014 and love it so far! CVT is weird to get used to though.

Great Car for the Price

Good car and did well overall. The technology has came along way in Nissan's and it was very stylish. A couple small maintenance issues over time and then the A/C compressor gave out early which was disappointing.

3rd Altima I have owned

I have a 2014 Altima. It is the 2nd Altima that I have owned (I had a 1998 Altima and my husband bought a 2012 last year). I was pleasantly surprised with my SV model. I was sold on the remote start and exterior styling. The seats are very comfortable, as well. For the price, I got lots of features. I just wish I had some of the features offered on the newer Altimas...lane departure, Navigation, etc. But I highly recommend this car to those looking for a mid-size car. You won't be disappointed! Great, great gas mileage! I went from Florida back to Alabama, 4.5 hrs on a half tank. It got an impressive 500 estimated miles to empty! Best I have ever had!

Some issues with Transmission

I love the look and feel of this car, but the engine seems a bit under powered and there have been known issues with the transmission.

Reliable but boring

Reliable as I bought it new. Personally I hated the CVT especially the drone sound it makes when cold or accelerating fast. The electronic steering was extremely numb and had no road connection feeling. On highway drive, this added to the fatigue... I recommend this to those who just care for reliability. but as far as pleasure to drive, other than comfortable seats, it was quite boring. Of course this is subjective and others may love it. I replaced this with a 2003 Lexus ES 300 with 143K miles on it and the old Lexus is 10 times better than Altima!

Best car

This car has met all my needs. It is fully loaded and luxurious on the inside. The outside is very stylish too. Nissan is a great company. I would buy another vehicle from them in the future.

Good looking, great economy, comfortable ride.

My second Altima, I'd buy another. Excellent value, especially the SL. Front wheel drive did excellent in winter months. Altima has great looks for a family car.
