GET THE 3,5L V6. A STEAL with Great Performance!!

Needed a good solid 4-door sedan but did NOT want to buy anything underpowered or expensive. Bought this car - Exec Driven - with a couple 1000 miles on it. Great performance on the reliable 3.5L engine that they do NOT sell anymore in the Altima. Basically it is the same V6 engine as in the Maxima and 350Z - you just need to add on some performance parts. The 270HP is very adequate, but when you put on a couple of Stillen Performance parts - Air intake, bigger exhausts, and stiffer Anti-Sway Bar (everything with installation - UNDER $1000!!) you're at about 300HP and the car is faster than the Maxima that is 800 pounds heavier. If you can find one of these cars - and YES they are still IN DEMAND used - buy it and put the performance parts on. You will have saved a ton of money by not buying a BMW or Lexus or Audi. Gas mileage is very decent on it and handles very well.

Spectacular Car All Around

This car, if you purchase one with the SL trim, which is what I own, has advanced safety and luxury amenities on par with vehicles in luxury classes and of much higher pricing. At almost 40K miles, now, routine oil changes and tire rotations are all that I have put into this car. I have full confidence it will sail into to the 120K to 140K range with not much added repair costs.

A great car so far!

I’ve only owned it for about a week but so far the performance has blown itself outta the water! I am being extremely careful because I’ve known of the CVT issues on these cars, but it’s a one owner and it’s been well taken care of, so hopefully it’ll last a long time! Also interior is some of the comfiest I’ve ever ridden in. Entertainment systems in the car could use a bump into the 21st century but other than that a solid car with great performance!

For the price it should have been a better car

I felt like there was too much street in buying that car and I always thought that a Altima was one of the best cars made. I was mistaken

Used car worth the value

This car was sporty and spacious enough for my tall teenage son. It also had low mileage and was very new in years. We are very happy with this car.

My Altima

It’s a good car just from a bad dealer. Comfortable and convenient for a young mom. Lots of space. Not a fan of the audio screen.
