Much better quality than older Nissan trucks

Drives great and good milage on trips, an towing power is good. I have the four door and the extended bed 6 1/2 ft. The only complaint is the turning radius.

Great truck, great value

Before purchasing my 2013 Frontier new in 2013, I owned a 2001 Toyota Tacoma which I had purchased off my uncle a few years earlier. My main reason for buying a new Truck was to get more of the modern saftey features not available on the early-2000s trucks, like ABS, traction control, side air bags, etc. I liked my '01 Toyota alot, so naturally looked at Tacoma's first. I wasn't even considering buying new, knowing what the new Tacomas went for, and I was looking in the 2009-12 range. Drove a few and was unimpressed, not disappointed, but actually preferred the feel of my old truck...the newer Toyotas felt cumbersome and unresponsive. Then there was the price tag, they wanted $22-24K for used offerings in the 30-40K mileage range. I had never really considered the Frontier because of its plain looks compared to the Toyota, but when I saw I could get a new one for not much more than a 3-4 year old Toyota, I gave it a try. I was very impressed with the handling, feel, and power. The 261 hp 4.0L V6 was a nice upgrade from the 220hp 3.4L in my old truck. Handling was tight (for a pickup) and it felt solid. I was able to purchase a new Frontier SV 4x4 with the value truck package for only a few thousand more than an '09 Tacoma with 39,000 miles that I looked at. I was impressed also with the options it came with, like the removable bed extender/divider, factory sprayed on bedliner, fog lamps, auto dimming rearview mirror with compass, and backup camera, to name just a few. I am now 4 years, 2 months into my Frontier, and 28,000 miles, and it has been a rock. Not one single issue. My only complaint was the tires it came with wore out after 27K, but that seems to be a common problem with the stock tires on many new vehicles these days. Got a nice set of Yokahama A/Ts for it now and they give the truck a meaner, rugged look. Also added side steps, window deflectors, and a front deflector directly from Nissan for a very reasonable price and installed by the dealer. Had to go to a 3rd party for the tonneau cover, but would highly recommend the Access cover if you have the sliding extender kit in your bed. Overall a great truck, fun to drive, rugged, and reliable for the best price out there. So it isn't as sporty looking as the Tacoma is new Colorado. So what, it's a pickup truck, not a sports car, and the capabilities are almost dead equal between the 3. Besides, with some nice A/T tires with white lettering, and the extra add-ons, it actually does look much sportier. I highly recommend the Frontier.

Big luxury truck feel but fits in the garage!

This 4x4 Crew Cab has been a real pleasure to drive, both around town and on the open freeway. Very comfortable ride, better than my small SUV. Plenty of power and decent fuel economy for a 4 liter V6 Automatic. The dual climate AC is great!

Great small truck

This truck has met my needs, even a trip all the way across the country. It is a comfortable ride and tows without issue. The only real drawback has been the gas mileage. 15mpg is the same my '98 suburban used to get.

Great Truck & so Dependable

Just as good if not better than expensive Toyota Tacomas. I can not think of anything else I would want in a truck except maybe heated front seats.

Best pickup I've ever owned

I bought this new in 2013 have had it now for almost 4 years (next month). I had trouble in parking lots of people scratching the paint with carts or something; picked up some touch-up paint from the dealer which flat out didn't work. As far as reliability and performance, can't really complain. I never worry about approaching on ramps as it will get up to speed in a short amount of time. Gas mileage is as advertised, however I've never gotten below 18.5.

Best vehicle I've owned

The 2013 nissan frontier in my opinion is one of the best vehicles you can buy. I've never had a problem not a malfunction. It was dependable and I loved that truck.

Value for the money.

I purchased my 2013 Frontier S V from a dealer and it has room for 4 adults, Or 5 people, (3, 13 year olds in back seat). Gas mileage is about 24 Mpgs on highway averaging 70 mph. It will tow 6000 pounds without breathing hard. Wish I had a longer bed, but I do have a bed extender. So far the Truck has been very reliable.
