2020 Nissan Kicks consumer reviews

I’ve had this car for a little over three years and up until the last year. It has been great. All of the sudden all of the sensors on the dashboard will randomly go off while driving. I have put numerous new batteries in my key fob and yet every time I turned my car on. It says that the key battery is low. I have my checked numerous times and each time I turn the car on it says “check tires”. When the sun hits the front of my car just right, my sensors believe that there is a car in front of me, which calls for emergency breaking. The car has been reliable, but the sensor issue is bothersome. The radio will not properly switch to CarPlay, and the air conditioner will not blow the proper temperature set. It also has delayed acceleration unreliable gas mileage.

But used last year ,since have boost 4 to 5 already new battery last feb 2024 still problem this LEMON , got in may 2024, first was no sensor on rime alway show in dash check tires tires were changes with new valves with sensor, also missing back rear cover spare ,

2020 Nissan Kick, purchased 4/2023 Transmission went out 11/2024 Engine went out February 7, 2025 Battery went our February 24 Replaced sensor I'm a 78 year old senior, which relies on dependable transportation. I use my car for traveling to doctor, church, and grocery store. I have been stranded twice on the highway. It's not fair to me.

Got my Nissan in 2020 it’s multiple sensor issues after another I put in over 5,000 and now they want another 2500 for other sensor issues. Just don’t do it, I’m finally just gonna trade it in. Gonna go with Toyota.

The only problem with any of the kicks is they are very small inside Great if you are a small short person, 40 mpg will make you OVERLOOK THAT😂

Acceleration delay, Air conditioning issues with fan, all sensors continously turn on for no reason. I would not recommend this car. One problem is resolved and two more pop up. Terrible.

my 2020 Nissan Kicks has horrible electrical problems and the Nissan Dealer in Chula Vista refused to take care of the pro le. when I took it there, according to another mechanic all the 2020 Nissa Kicks came with a part inside the steering wheel damaged (some kind of wire, that need to be replaced and it cost thousands of dollars), that led the car to start blowing the horn like if the alarm was on, while driving and now it doesn't have power when I'm driving it uphill, I need help!!! Nissan has to fix this big mistake, please if you're experiencing the same problem with your Nissan Kicks, we have to have Nissan to have them recall and fix it now!

Radio problem malfunction problem skipping problem. Sensor will just go bad in a instant. Was just driving down the road and all the sudden dash lights up with every light from check engine light to traction control loss power.

My overall review of Nissan Kicks car is it is a very good car in terms of appearance, efficiency, interior space and design, compactness, etc. I highly recommend this car to users as it is a comfortable car.

I bought a 2020 Kicks new. I have had so many issues including 3 radios replaced. The seats are really uncomfortably hard. It has multiple Sensor issues including it coming to a complete stop on the highway multiple times. Glad no one was directly behind me. It has Key section issues even with a new battery in the key fob. The Front waning sensor detects collision when no other vehicle was in view. Now my power steering will not engage when turning and it will not go when the gas is pressed then launches toward fast. Transmission is slipping and it makes a grinding sound on and off. I am afraid to drive it and the dealership says they can’t replicate the problems. This is worst vehicle I have ever owned.
