Great Value
We purchased a 2007 Murano with 11,000 miles in January of this year. Soon after got a letter extending the warrantyh on the CVT to ten years or 120.00 miles. The car's interior could be a bit more luxurious compared to some of the competition but the exterior really sets it apart. Everyone comments on the styling and you don't get it confused with alot of others that look verymch alike. It's very stylish but yet functional. The V6 and CVT are great. I do alot of highway driving and average 22-23 miles per gallon. That's checking the trip computer and doing my own calculations with miliage and gallons (not that I would ever doubt something a car dealer of the government ever told me). This car is pretty much on everyone's recommend list. We also own a pickup truck, a PT Cruiser (that just refuses to die) and an HHR. The Murano will do everything that we need except haul hay and its great to take out on a Saturday night. I never feel underdressed when I drive it. For the money it is a great value.

Very comfortable ride
I am very happy with my Murano. It hasn't given my any problems, yet. The things I like most: backup camera, CVT trans., Bose stereo, quiet ride, plenty of space, pretty good gas mileage for SUV. I haven't come across anything I dislike about it, yet. Go test drive one...you won't be sorry.

We like it so much we purchased a second one
We traded a 2005 in for a 2007. We leased the 07 and will most likely buy it at lease end. The Murano gets great mileage 21 -22 average. Great visibility and the seats are among the best we have ever had. Acceleration is just right. We liked the 07 over the 09 because of the dash configuration. More places to put things. Only thing we had to do wase put a screen in the lower grill to keep rocks from damaging ac cooler.something Nissan should have done. Great car.

2007 Murano S FWD
Very pleased with my 2007 Murano. Plenty room inside and 26.1 mpg average on the highway. Regret not getting AWD with the snowy weather we are having. Note: had to cover the blinding high beam blue lite. Very distracting!

Number 3 for a reason
We are in the process of buying our third Murano. We originally had a 2003 SL and the only thing mechanical besides oil changes/tire rotation was a safety recall in 58,000 miles. We were still on the original tires too. Looked at the 09's and didn't care for the changes, so bought a left over 07. A week ago it was totaled after being hit by another car, ours having only 2800 miles on it. We considered getting something a little more economical, but decided after how we came out from the accident, we REALLY liked the safety of this car, so we are getting another 07. CVT is beyond awesome. Set cruise at speed wanted, and it stays there, no up and down in speed. Car is silent as a tomb, has plenty of room, M-I-L can get into rear seat very well, holds grandsons car seat and still have room for two adults, the list goes on and on. I would highly recommend this car to anyone. 09's no longer have the moving pedals, liked by my short stature wife.

Great on the Inside, but ...
I've had a chance to play with a Murano owned by a guy down the street. Inside, the car is well-outfitted and bears the attention to detail that Nissan is known for. The CVT is something else - it takes a bit of getting used to, but it's really cool to just go faster and faster without feeling any shift points! Unfortunately, the Murano's unusual styling is both off-putting and annoying. The hunched-over rear and rounded front with its "checkerboard" grille led a writer in one of the major car mags to describe it as resembling a pregnant roller skate! Ok, maybe that's kind of extreme but I did find the same visibility problems as MS. In fact, one of my co-workers has a brother who works for a body shop and says he's doing more and more work on low-vis SUV's (Murano, FX, Magnum, etc.) fixing fender-benders resulting from poor sight lines. Bottom line, it's a good car that provides inside luxury at a good price. But if you care about styling and visibility, you may want to do some more research.

I love my Murano
After much research and test driving, I am very pleased w/my Touring package purchase. It handles better than most SUV's I've driven, and I was pleasantly surprised w/the rear storage and how easy it was to let the seats down. I drove from Maryland to New York on 1/2 tank of gas.

Murano, Part Duex
We just picked up our second Murano. The first was a 2003. After driving some competitive SUV's (some costing upwards of $10 grand more), we eventually came back to the 2007 Murano. The ride is compliant but a tad firm (we like that, though). The fit and finish inside and out is first rate. It has enough creature comforts to keep everyone happy. We enjoy the heated leather seats, Bose 7 speaker stereo, backup camera and auto-dimming rear view mirror. The impressive thing about the Murano is that venerable Nissan 3.5 L V6 coupled with the CVT transmission. It just has gobs of power when you need it and smooth performance all the time. Try a high speed pass at 75 mph. Impressive! Maintenance cost on our first one was paultry, and we totally expect the same from our 2007. If you're looking for a sporty, well equipped, comfortable cross-over SUV, look no further than the Nissan Murano.

Love it! Love it!
My husband and I are constantly bickering over who can drive the Murano. It is reliable and such a joy to drive. We have taken it into the mountains to go skiing and through the mud traveling to rugby games. Then I can clean it up and pick up and pick my boss up at the airport in a clean crisp car. Everyone who rides in it comments on the roominess especially. If I had to say one negative thing it would be the the MPG in the city is not the greatest... I think we are averaging like 16MPG in stop and go traffic and around 24 highway. Although for an SUV that still is not too bad. That is the only reason for the 4 stars on performance. We constantly recommend this car to friends and have already had one buy one (think another will soon.)
