awesome vehicle

Bought this Murano Cab used and with 27K miles it's incredible how well it feels and handles. Still like a new vehicle. Great handling vehicle and great ride.

Different but love it

I was told nobody like them and they were giving them away. I did buy one with 18,000 miles and the paint was flaking behind the rear window area and on the door. I love the car but the company of Nissan's stinks. They painted half the car for me. Saying they had not baked it enough ,but what about the other side will it likely happen? After I got home I found that this allegedly certified used car at the Nissan dealership had dirty underwear in the trunk and the tires we're barely legal. I called Nissan main office to complain and they said that each dealership establishes what is certified. That made no sense! The leather on the seats is having a strange appearance it's like wrinkling defective but they will not replace it. The dealership had the regional guy look at it who denied the claim. Again if you call the manufacturer or they tell you that each dealership does what it wants they have no way of holding any of their dealerships to comply or accountable on any issue. I found that amazing. This is very unlike Toyota that I've dealt with on like 7 Vehicles already and have always gotten a great customer service experience. As for this car it is awesome in design except for the two aforementioned flaws. I'm still under warranty but I opted to buy the extended warranty because I found out that the Convertible motor is like $4,000 and a convertible control board is like $4,000. The policy was 2700. Yeah in the morning

vintage & romance rolled into one

I bought a 2012 CC after admiring this car upon 1st sight. Coming from a BMW X5, I can honestly say I have not looked back. The Murano Cabriolet is such a pleasure to drive ! There isn't a week which goes by that someone doesn't admire this beauty. I absolutely love my car. I only shorted one star due to minor issue with top sensor. Otherwise top opens & closes with no problems.

Extremely Satisfied

I bought my 2014 Murano Convertible CrossCabriolet two years ago for my wife on Father's Day. I can honestly say I hit a home run with my wife. We just love it. The car has performed flawlessly and the raves that we get from others has almost become embarrassing. This car offers you everything. The ride with "wind in your face" to the nice comfort of AC when it is too hot to have the top down. I'm just sorry/mad that Nissan has stopped production. They had a winner in this one.

Paint Chipping

I love my 2014 convertible except I have had paint peeling. The first time was on the driver's side back window and the warranty was out and the dealership said I would have to go through Nissan. I did and had a very nice customer service and they paid for the car to be repainted at the window and this was in December 2015. Then I notice on the passenger side of the car back window in the same spot as the drivers side was the paint was peeling. I got the estimate as before with pictures(the dealership said that there was nothing I did to make the paint peel like that). I call Nissan again and file a claim. They called me back the next day and informed me that they were not going to cover the charges because they could not state if I did it myself or put something on the vehicle to make it peel. This customer service representative was very hateful and talked down to me. I explained all I had did was wash it and I have not even waxed it or anything. She told me I would have to deal with it. I informed her I would be trading my Nissan and I would never buy another one nor would I ever recommend anyone to buy a Nissan because there customer service was awful. She stated for me to do what I had to do.

love this all-purpose convertible

I had been looking for a convertible for a while. 2-seat sportscars don't have any room for a friend and "stuff". Other sporty cars can't be driven in winter (rear-drive=nogo on new England hills). I joked to a dealer, "how come nobody makes a SUV convertible?". He said Nissan did, but you won't find one. Well, it took a while to find a good one bit I did. 2014/black. All the comforts of home. Great performance. Every where I go people ask "What is that?". It's a go anywhere, anytime, luxurious, comfortable 4-seat (really), convertible. Fully automatic. I love it. (note-can't rate reliability... only had it a month)

Do not purchase this car!

I purchased a new 2011 Cabriolet in July 2012. Recently, I tried to lower the top and couldn't. I took the car to the dealer and was informed that two frame rails were broken and that the top would have to be replaced for a cost of approximately $13,000, and since the car was 1,000 miles over warrantee (one month within the three year limit), I would have to deal with Nissan. Nissan has since informed me that they will not cover the repair. Do not buy one of these vehicles or any other Nissan vehicle. They will not stand behind their product even if there is an obvious manufacturing or materials defect.

Great choice if you've already owned a Murano!

We've had 4 Muranos in the family and loved them all! The oldest has 250,000 miles and still is going strong! The others have 100,00 and 145,00 miles respectively with no issues. My 2014 CC now has 50,000 miles and I still love it! Great car for road trips. Seats four comfortably with 3 of us over 6 feet tall. Just had my first minor glitch with the top, but the dealer's been great (if inexperienced) and I've had convertibles in the past...you will have an issue eventually. If you think the doors are too big or the back end is too wide, don't buy it...it will never lose weight!
