Wonderful car for my wife
We test drove everything before purchasing this car for my wife. She loved her Beetle but it was starting to be unreliable and there is anything we hate it is unreliable. We have had numerous Datsun's and Nissan's and never had a bad one. This Rogue we got with AWD is decked out with all the options and is just beautiful to drive and beautiful to look at. The stereo is awesome and on a recent run to Phoenix we hit 30mpg....better than the old Beetle. My wife loves the car and once in awhile she lets me drive it (when it needs gas or a wash). The power is great and hard to believe it is a 4 cylinder....would like to try out the 4WD but never see snow.

VGood car but a little more would make it great!
Traded in my Mazda Tribute for a 2008 FWD Rouge SL, which was a big improvement in fuel consumption (especially in the city) and road noise. This car is quiet. The 2.5L with CVT have been a great combo - no problem on performance. Pro's - mpg, performance, quiet, comfortable (I'm 6'1"), heated seats, night lights, handling, moon-roof Con's - orange light gauges (cannot read with sun glasses), hard to read the small orange mph numbers on speedometer (mine is a Canadian model and I cross the border a lot), no Bose sound system for the FWD (only available on AWD), no Navigation System as option (that may keep me from buying a Rogue again!), blind spot for backing (but using mirrors is not that bad).

nissan rogue
bought my rogue in january. took 18 day road trip in march. very happy with overall handling of front wheel drive rogue. great in snow, heavy rain, and on wet roads. gas mileage was awesome. plenty of room inside, a little noisy on rough pavement, but turned radio on and didn't notice it. if you're looking for a reasonably priced crossover, this is the car for you.

Smooth,Quiet, great MPG
Really quiet and smooth. The 4 cyl with the CVT has plenty of power. The red line is 6k RPM but I rarely go over 3k RPM. I get 25 MPG commmuting and 29 MPG highway.

Surprising room and power
This car is roomy and feels more like a mid-size SUV than a small SUV. Despite it's size, the engine offered good accerlation and wasn't sluggish at all. The styling looks good and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Nice Practical Vehicle
I've only had my Rogue for a month and a half but so far my impressions of this CUV are very favorable. It's comfortable to drive, handles well and looks sharp (if not a little generic). A few small quibbles however - Even though I purchased the SL AWD, I did not get the premium package because it had many features I didn't want or need. With that in mind, the standard sound system is meek sounding. The window switches on the arm rest are not illuminated so at night, it makes it a little difficult to open the door locks. This may or may not be a feature that is provided on the luxury package but it is an annoying omission. Finally this vehicle because of it's sloping back (like most CUVs) has a blind spot that can only be overcome by twisting around like Linda Blair to overcome. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it.

My 2010 Rogue Fits My Needs
I came from a Explorer SportTrac that was wearing down after 8-9 years of moderate use. Most notably, the gas mileage had sunk to 12 MPG, even with the most meticulous attention to maintenance. My new Rogue SL AWD doubles my MPG and provides more than adequate space for my mountain biking, road biking, and woodworking interests. Like suitcases, we all tend to expand what we carry in our cars according to the available room. I have realized that my "stuff" wasn't as necessary as I thought, have paired down what I haul and haul it quite well in my Rogue. It is much more comfortable than my Explorer, quieter, better equipped and smoother. I particularly like the CVT transmission's smooth operation. The gauges as well placed and the on-board computer showing me my mileage as I drive is a real plus. Very nice car, good value for your $$ and well appointed.
