Fun Car Makes Me Feel Safe
I love my Rogue! I was looking for an AWD small utility vehicle that would keep me safe on icy streets, roll right over snow and not burn up too much gas. I drive a combination of freeway and city streets, mostly city streets and I'm getting better mileage than my 2003 Buick Century. This car is sturdy and safe, has pep when you need it and I love the styling (I have a blue one). It also has a comfortable, quiet ride on the freeway - hard to compete with a Buick there, but the Rogue fits the bill. I didn't want a large SUV because of the gas bills but I wanted something large enough to be dependable in whiteout and black ice conditions. The Rogue has several safety features such as dynamic vehicle control, AWD and anti-lock brakes. It's just about the safest car I could have chosen and it's such fun to drive.

Better than the others
I spent hours and hours on the internet looking at specs and reviews on every CUV/Small SUV out there. Test drove almost all of them and the Rogue was the clear winner. Here's why: Compared to the competitors, Rogue offers more features for the money. The handling is great and the ride is both smooth and quiet - even with the windows partially down. Gas mileage is good even with AWD and the engine has plenty of pep. The interior is a little plain but better quality than most of the others. It has the feel of a larger SUV yet takes up less room in my garage than my Mazda6 did! People keep asking what kind of car it is, if Nissan did more advertising on it I think there would be far more Rogues on the roads.

New and happy
5k so far. Georgia to Boston without a complaint. Great gas mileage @ 28 hwy. Gotta watch the speed with the CVT, but smooth driving in town and on the highway. Great AC, but the black trim doesn't help. The SV has the needed extras like the back up camera and sporty rear spoiler. The keyless entry and ignition is great and storage is ample especially with the roof rack. I had doubts about the CVT, but after getting used to it, I love the pep and smooth acceleration. Great car, right size and fun to drive.

Adequate for the Price
My 2011 Rogue SV does everything it was designed to do at a decent price. Overall, the vehicle is pleasant to drive, quiet, responsive, and build quality is good. The interior is fairly stark however and hard plastic dominates. Although, the soft cloth on the arm rests is welcome. The cloth power seats are not the most comfortable and it is not possible to delete all the dreaded lumbar. Mileage is comparable with the other vehicles in the category 22 city/28 highway, as advertised. I was hoping to achieve better but an average of 25 mpg is not the worst. The stereo system is not spectacular but I'm sure the optional Bose system would be a step up. The back-up camera is hard to see on occasion and the sensors on the rear bumper should be standard with the SV model. As I said, an adequate vehicle for the price. Nothing to rave about but I'm not disappointed. Except, you would think a compass would be standard. Now that's just plain cheap.

Very comfortable ride
I wanted something sporty yet comfortable. I have both! For the money, I got much more than the Honda or the Ford in terms of perks. This vehicle has it all at a great price! Recommended it to my buddy whose Lexus has 300K miles and he is considering it as his next vehicle.

Love my little Rouge
Just hit 2,200 miles On my 2011 Rogue and love it! The interior is near luxury if you get the gray interior sv-sl model, with easy to use tech features like the Bluetooth and IPod connection. The gray interior is way, way, way nicer than the black (which makes for a far too dark interior since all the hard surfaces are black plastic as well). Oh, and the Bose ROCKS. But the best thing is how easy it is to drive and park. Rear visibility is compromised, especially if you are trying to pull out of a parking spot, but the back-up camera more than makes up for it. Weaving in and out of traffic is super easy, and I have no trouble seeing to change lanes. My hubby is 6'4" and finds the ride comfortable. I'm comfortable and enjoy a good driving position. The odd transmission makes for an impressively smooth ride, too. You should take one for a spin.

Perfect fit for our needs
We needed a new car for my wife who takes her mother around often with a folding walker and needed either a wagon, hatchback, or crossover for ease of tossing the walker in the back. We have a Highlander and didn't want another larger vehicle but we loved the size and comfort of the Rogue after looking at alternatives. I absolutely wanted the Nav and backup camera along with heated seats, and we live in a hilly area that gets some snow and ice so we opted for the the SV model with AWD and every option. We have owned many vehicles over the years and know that it is the little things that you like or drive you crazy over time. I was sold on the solid feel of the body and ride, ease of entry and exit from all four doors, layout of the controls, and very little wind noise on the highway or with the windows partially or fully down. A lot of cars suffer from wind buffeting or that dreaded throbbing sound when the windows aren't fully up. I attribute the body shaping to this benefit. I have owned other Nissan's in the past and expect good reliability and lower maintenance costs. The CVT is interesting and less powerful than the V6 in my Highlander, but it moves the car well and very smoothly. We love the extras as well such as the excellent IPod touch menu from the nav system which is on the smaller side at only 5 inches, but has a very intuitive interface and very clear viewing. The new allow wheels and Xenon lights that come with the full boat package give the car a nice upscale look as well. We just got the car, but I'm very impressed with the total package.

My New Nissan Rogue 2011
I purchased a Nissan Rogue 2011 model on the 4th of Feb 2011. I have done 900 miles so far. I get a city gas mileage of 22-22.4 mpg and a highway mileage of 26. The power transmission is very smooth and the engine noise is well insulated inside the cabin. The driving position is quite good and the seat ergonomics is quite good as well. I am not a great fan of the all black interior design but i dont have any complaints as the plastic materials are of good quality. The car took sometime to heat the interiors and the sun visor cannot be extended when you turn it sideways. The car stereo on the base model does not have a usb interface, but the sound system is very good. The braking is superb and with abs sudden stops are just a piece of cake. The car is easy to maneuver in crowded parking lots and the steering is nice and weighted precisely for slow and higher speed driving. I would recommend Nissan Rogue for its smooth driving, excellent city and highway mileage. However Rogue loses out to Hyundai Tucson when it comes to warranty terms and sportier driving, loses to Toyota Rav4 for the third row of seating and greater inside volume and luggage space.
