The nissan rogue select is a reliable vehicle, but the airbag light came on and want go off, the vehicle rides rough and loud due to the tires roar, even when new, the engine whines when going up hill, but I love the cargo space, and gas milage.

Avoid At All Costs!!
Because of this vehicle I will never own anything with a CVT transmission. We have had issue after issue with it. On a hot day you can't drive more than 30 miles without your gas pedal suddenly ceasing to work. You'll go from 80 mph to 40 suddenly. Apparently there is a safety feature where if the transmission gets too hot you can't accelerate. You have to pull over & wait 5-10 mins for it cool before getting back on the road but once it starts expect it to kick in every 15 miles after. I have never owned a better vehicle when it comes to driving in snow & rough terrain, I'll give it that. We took it back to the dealer where first they said they were going to replace the transmission but then changed their minds & just added a extra cooling fan to help cool the transmission. It has been nickle and diming us to death since we drove it off the lot. We just replaced the front axle then both rear axles went out. Replaced those & the relief we felt was so short lived because the very next day it starting knocking so hard underneath that I honestly thought a rod was going to skewer me at any moment. Yeah that was the sound of the differential carrier assembly going out. A pretty expensive fix for a vehicle with an unreliable transmission. We refuse to sink any more money into it. We've barely had it 2 years! These transmissions are notorious for going out once you get 150,000 miles on them. We're a little past that number. If the car was only in my name I'd let them repo it. I can't believe no recalls have been made on these issues. Most dealerships know to stay away from these because it's nothing but problems.

Faulty Transmission- Nissan know it!
A good car except the CVT transmission in my year Rogue Select, and other years, are proving to be faulty; mine failed! The car is good except this issue and a few other minor issues. Checkout the number of class action suits you’ll find online if you have doubts. Buyers beware and ask about it before you buy from dealer or otherwise since they may not tell you.

Stylish, roomy, high enough high waters, reliable
This suv has been very good to the family riding needs, strong enough for a 4 cyl, gas saver, aerodynamic and handles the road very well.

Reliable transportation
I have enjoyed owning and driving my rogue. It has been safe and reliable transportation on my many commutes out of state. I will probably buy another when the time comes.

Great Features, Great Car, Great Price
The Nissan Rogue is roomy without being bulky. It feels rather "zippy" while driving it. I am enjoying the steering wheel controls, the Bluetooth capability, the RDS screen, and the digital monitor with information such as MPG, miles to empty, etc. It also has a back up camera that I'm trying to learn to rely on . . . it just takes some time. It has two 12 volt accessory outlets, a USB outlet, and an AUX outlet. One complaint about the outlets though - they do NOT work while the vehicle is turned off. Also - no automatic lights or self-dimming mirrors. Not deal-breakers by any means - just information for you. It has power windows and power adjustable side mirrors which is always a plus.
