Love this car

I would have to say, I love driving this car. I love it's looks, the comfort, the roominess of the inside, the sound system, and pretty much everything about it! I can drive forever on one tank of gas too.

Good Buy

I bought this vehicle brand new in 2007 and so far I have about 46K miles on it. The only maintenance I have had to do with the vehicle is regular fluid changes and new tires. Haven't even had to change brake pads or anything yet. I do a lot of highway driving so could be why everything has lasted so long. Gets great gas mileage. Interior does scratch very easily but there is plenty of room. 6 speed transmission shifts nicely, clutch was a little touchy at first but you get used to it.There are 2 recalls out on these vehicles so just be aware of that. But all in all a great buy

I Love My Sentra!

I bought my Sentra used with 35,000 miles and it drives like it is brand new. The CVT is so smooth, you don't even feel when the car shifts. The interior is very comfortable and has alot of features seen in higher end cars. Visibility is pretty good, sometimes side views are a little poor but nothing too bad. I get usually around 29 mpg so not too bad either. The outside is not wildly exciting...but it is on par with a Corolla. The trunk is very large and has room for all your groceries or suitcases. Changing the oil is very easy and a full tank of gas costs no more than $25 bucks. The only real negative I think of for the car are the headlights. I feel like the headlights on the normal setting don't illuminate the road ahead very well...but that can always be fixed. Overall, this is a great car. The interior is daring, comfortable, and feels like a much more expensive car. The exterior is not head turning but not bad either. The driving experience is good, the car is zippy and can accelerate very well on highway enterance ramps. The drive is comfortable for all in the car, and the car is easy to clean both inside and outside. Also the Sentra has a very large two tiered glove box, so you have moe than enough room for everything. A GREAT CAR!

Most Unreliable Car I have Owned

Bought the car brand new. Have had it in the shop 14 times in a little over a year. The paint is falling off, rattles in the front end(mysteriously no one else but my husband and I can hear it), steering column has had to be replaced, exhaust manifold had to be replaced, it leaked water in the floor when it rained. The list goes on and on. The car dealership has had the car more than I have due to all the repairs. My husband has a Nissan truck thats not worth blowing up. Oh, and did I mention I bought it brand new? Only had 51 miles on it...Looking to trade BOTH Nissans for something more reliable.

Visability is not good

I have a 2007 Nissan Sentra and although I think it's a good looking car and has as nice looking interier. I have found that the visablity is not good. There is a terrible blindspot due to the wide side air bag panels in conjunction with the mirror being one whole panel. I think the smaller rear window which is partially covered by the seat head rests doesn't help, along with smaller rearview mirror. I'm having a terrible time in this model for these reasons.

My Car

This car is being made so good that it has a above edge than Tyota Corolla and Honda Civics. Even my freinds who own the Toyota and Honda cars like this one.

Great Value car

i like the exterior styling best...looks like a mini altima/maxima on the side. CVT is great and the powerful 2.0L engine is comparabe to 1.8L in terms of gas mileage. some interior faults like over size driver side visor (keeps hitting the rear view mirror when pulling it down, it has no visor mirror. power door locks not automatic, door side pockets too small, radio lcd display is washed out under bright sunlight...still a great value car overall.

Spec-V: Best Pocket Rocket you can buy

I own a 2007 SE-R Spec-V. Firstly, you will need to install the Injen Cold Air intake. It transforms the engine totally. Feels like an enormous surge of extra power. Worth EVERY PENNY!!! My gas mileage is 26, and I can drive any way I want. When I drive just highway in 6th gear, around 65-70mph I have gotten 33mpg, well above EPA rating. I use premium, but I have used regular before and the car was fine. The stock wheels are great, but the summer tires are worthless in snow-- get the all-season tires if you can. The Rockford Stereo is weak. Easily drowned out with the windows down. Don't waste your money on it. AC and heating work great, but the fan is sort of on the weak side. Huge trunk opening, huge glove box, very comfortable seats. Nice shifter and the 6th gear is great, you still have plenty of pulling power. This car is faster than any car in its class, including the GTI, Si, and Cobalt SS, which I test drove all of them. The GTI costs 7,000 more, and is not that much to look at, plus the stereo REALLY sucks in that car. The Si sits too low for me and has less headroom and less hiproom- it feels squished. Also the engine is weak during normal driving unless you drive it like you own it. Cobalt SS is WAY slower than the Spec-V, and its trunk opening is too tiny for a daily driver. The Spec-V gets better MPG than all of them, as well. Also, the Spec-V is thousands of dollars less than all of them. Looks stunning in Black, and also looks smooth in white.
