2010 Nissan Sentra

The vehicle has a good design but I found a cold start tick in the engine that is extremely annoying and it appears hundreds of complaints of the same issue is online.

Comfortable and reliable and boring

I bought this car primarily because I got a very good deal on it. It is not an exciting vehicle by any means, but is comfortable, reliable, and efficient. I love the seating position- you sit a bit higher up than other vehicles in the class. Outward visibility is very good, and the interior is intuitively designed and controls are easy to use. The trunk is large and the glove box can fit an entire laptop. The CVT takes a while to get used to, but I have had no issues with it- in fact I have been impressed with both performance and fuel economy. It's not a fast car, but it's not slow either. Handling isn't sporty, but it's secure. I've put about 35,000 miles on it since I bought it, and there have been no mechanical issues. Overall, it's been excellent as a daily commuter- easy to drive and park in the city and quiet and comfortable on the highway. My only qualms: - The outside mirrors don't fold in, which has been an issue when parking on narrow city streets. - The driver's sun visor, when down, blocks a portion of the rear-view mirror. Not a huge deal, but an annoyance. - In cold temperatures (under 20 degrees or so) the CVT takes a while to warm up, and the car runs roughly until it does. Apparently this is normal, and takes some getting used to during the winter months.

For the money it's a great deal.

Not a car for driving fast or showing off. I have had the S and SR versions. Both do the job but the SR has more interior / Exterior appeal. With good tires it does well in snow. It averages 33mpg when tank is over 1/4 tank. Car also fits 3 car seats in the back. All around good car

Perfect for the price!

I almost bought a 2010 Nissan Sentra SR and it was beautiful. Priced fairly and for a new student who just needs to get around while in a decent looking car on the outside and a nice all black interior on the inside it was very comfortable and stylish.

Mrs. Sonia McRae

The owners were great, along with Steven who walked the lot with me showing me the cars. The entire team was very hospitable, and knowledgeable about the car of my choice. I would go to NJ Auto Sales if needed in the future. My God continue to bless their business. Sonia M.

A great car with no issues and a pleasure to own. No headaches is a good thing! Cheers to Nissan for building a car that is affordable, safe and roadworthy.

Engine gave up at 85K miles

I bough the car brand new and The engine gave up in less than 90,000 miles and will have to pay out of pocket to get it fix as the manifacture warranty will not help nor the Nissan company. This is the worse car I have ever owned as it has cost me a lot of money and headaches. I will never buy or recommend anyone to buy a nissan.

Reliable car I've own

I owned the 2009 Nissan Sentra, but this 2010 is well worth it. More features rides great, price was excellent. This sedan is a reliable car to own and I recommend it to all who wants a Sentra.
