2014 Nissan Sentra consumer reviews

I bought a 2014 Nissan Sentra in August 2015 with less than 40 miles on it from a dealer in Thorn Hill, Ontario. The next day I had to come back because the tires were off balance. The next month I had to return, because the engine was about to cut out. They told that there were 2 recalls on it. Another month again I had to return, because the rotors were warped. They told me that they had changed them, but later on I found out that they had only machined them. Last month in a subzero degree the brakes failed, when I went back to them, they tried to find a none sense excuse, meanwhile, they charged me $140 . Recently again after 14 months I started to have the same problem with the front rotors, but they expect me to pay $700 to replace them now, because they offer only 1 year warranty on the rotors. The problem with the engine is back again , they asked me to bring it back to check it. This car has only 25000 mile on it , in about 18 months. I have been loosing many days off my work due to various problems. I dont think, I will ever buy a Nissan again.

Bought this car for my daughter, she loves it. Its her first car. Its a good size, safe and dependable!

This vehicle, although small is very comfortable. It averages great gas mileage and is known for its reliability. Great value for a newer fuel efficient car.

I bought my sentra nissan 3 years ago and im still in love with him! The best deal ever! If i have ti buy another one i still by a sentra! The best thing is the trunk enough space for eveything!

Honestly, a good little commuter. Gets good gas mileage with little effort and can even handle some moderate twisties with some enjoyment. Good little car for what it is.

Not a bad car at all good gas 40mpg what else do you want good staling not bad sometimes it makes feel like I'm a bmw low key.

This is an excellent car for road warriors or college students, what people should be talking about this car is how well CVT transmission makes car handle exceptionally great in snow, ice and rain, The 2014 Sentra has great gas mileage fantastic smooth comfortable ride but suspension is stiff enough to take a sharp turn on an offramp with ease, this is a great car, would highly recommend for first time drivers average about 29 to 30 MPG's and city, 39 to 42 on the highway, combined 33 mpg,

I bought my nissan sentra sv 6 speed manual transmission in July of 2016 only had 14k miles on it. I travel a lot so the fuel economy is alot better then with my truck. ride isn't terrible with the manual transmission acceleration isn't too bad. the interior is so outdated and old looking especially the media center. At 21k miles I was sitting there idling waiting for it to warm up fan started to sound sluggish and I could smell something. looked up to smoke pouring out from under the hood. I put the fire out had it towed to nissan. they had to replace my engine harness rad fan motor coolant and a couple other things. engine harness was back ordered so it took almost a month for repairs to be completed. my dealer was actually pretty decent to deal with kept me up to date and did everything they could to get me a rental on thier dime. but with only 21k miles on it has me extremely concerned with the reliability of this vehicle. as soon as I can I will be going to another brand. this is my first nissan and my last .
