A great find

I think it is going to be a great car. For an entry level compact it has more features than what you would expect. I like the fact that you sit higher above the road than what a compact normally does. It is almost like a mini-suv, at least that is what I think compared to some of the other cars that I test drove.

A Good Car

It's a good car for great money. Not fast, but very efficient. Confident handling. I like the sport and eco modes and I average about 34 mpg in city and highway driving in eco but not very economically.

First Nissan

Smooth ride, roomy cabin for taller driver/passengers, eco-mode gives me good gas mileage, but can disengage for sportier performance. Rear camera is a nice feature.

Great car, one complaint!

The car will beep at your for pretty much anything in the world warning you of something that is not right or sometimes when all is right. BUT, when the sunroof is left open, no warning at all!!!! I am thinking this was missed in the programming design documents? Thinking they may need help in their product analyst department.

Questionable quality

I bought a used 2015 nissan sentra in September 2016, after my 2015 kia forte was totalled in an accident. My first impression of the car was that it looked good inside and out, and that it rode nice. However, i wished that i had test drove it longer, otherwise i would not have bought it. While the car does look nice and the fuel economy is pretty good, there are a couple of things i absolutely cannot stand. First, the car is painfully slow. The CVT does respond well, but it just will not accelerate even if i put it in sport mode. I understand it was made for fuel economy, but you have to draw a line somewhere. The other thing, is that some of these sentras used a thinner weatherstripping for the doors, and that is makes a really bad whistle in crosswinds, so driveing on the hwy on windy days is downright annoying. I did talk to a nissan service manager, and nissan is aware of the problem and have updated to a thicker strip. And the one that really makes no sence, is that apparently they made 2 types of Bluetooth radios. One that strams audio, and one that dosent. I somehow got the one that only does phone calls, so i have to use the aux if i want to listen to my music from my phone. Really nissan? Its a 2015 model, not an 07. Honestly i do like the car, but nissan still needs to refine it better. Unfortunately i did finance it for 6 years, so im stuck with it for at least 3-4 years. All in all, it does get the job done as I've had it since sept. '16 and at that time, it had 7,300 miles on it. As of this writing which is april 15, 2017, it is just north of 39,600 miles, and has not broke down on me. Aside from its quirks, its a fairly decent vehicle. But not enough to recommend it.
