Love it but... It goes to the shop other week

I ordered my 2006 Titan in December of 2005 got it in Feb 06, and the truck was amazing at first... Then through out the entire time of ownership I had to get the washer system replaced 3 times, broken sensors 2 times, replaced radio system, ignition failure (take it to the dealer and they will not fix because the symptoms do not occur when they have the vehicle), and passenger seat replaced 4 times. Fuel economy used to be acceptable (16-19 Mpg), but now I can barely get 275 miles out of a 28 gallon tank. The residual value of the vehicle is poor, a vehicle that I spent well over 30K is now getting me a trade in of 20K.

Best truck ever!

I have an 05 SE with 55k miles on it and it is great. I have owned several of the big 3 trucks and they don't even compare. The power of this truck is amazing and I have yet to have even the slightest trouble so far. If you are shoping for a new truck, test drive a titan and you will be hooked.

Great for Hauling, durable off-road

Make sure you get the breaks refitted before your warrenty runs out. Also, make sure to select the flex-fuel models to save on gas costs. Though E-85 will not give you as good MPG, it does appear to help with engine performance. Engine will run cleaner and require less maintainence.

Nissan Quality?

Seems like a great package for the money, BUT my truck started leaking in the rear window within 2 months of purchase. 3 attepts at fixing the leak later, the leak is gone but the rear window has goop all over, the center section now sits crooked, and the trim around the window is bent. The dealer is replacing the whole rear assembly next. More of a dealer issue I guess, but if it hadn't leaked in the first place they never would have had to touch it. I hope this is not an indication of the overall quality of the truck. Dissapointing!

Consumer

Excellent Truck, 36000 miles and not qa problem. Had the brakes redone by the factory cause it was vibrating minimally! My only compliant is that the mileage could be better! My Chevy/Ford buddies can't stand how good this truck looks!
