Basic, reliable, affordable car

Bigger interior and trunk than you think. Low acceleration and susceptible to wind. Affordable and reliable. Great for young adults and people on a budget.

disposable car!

Gear shifter cable broken twice, had it replaced last year on 6/17 from nissan dealership cost me $614 and broke again 11/18. Nissan customer affairs will not help at all. Nissan has become a disposable car. Will never buy nissan again.

My Family Owns Two!

We love our Nissan Versa. We have a 2012 6-speed manual transmission hatchback in a cute ice blue color. Never any issues. Runs great and fun to drive. If you are looking for a compact car that gets great gas mileage, this is the car for you. Despite being a compact, it is quite comfortable and roomy, even in the backseat. We have had ours for 6 years with no issues whatsoever, and my dad has had his for about 13 years!

Its a very economical car for the price.

Unfortunately, the front seats don't go back very far, so if you are tall, this may not be the car for you.other than that I'm very happy with my little economy car.

Evaporative Emissions Canister Error

I love the look of the car inside and out. Lots of head space and leg room in back seat. Only issues I have are the panel by accelerator likes to catch foot (which just found out is under recall so will get that fixed) and the check engine light keeps coming on for an evaporative emissions canister problem. I've changed out the canister and after driving for a little while, the check engine light is back on and keeps giving same code. Have had it looked at by multiple mechanics, with the same perplexed look each time. Can find nothing wrong yet check engine light comes back on after driving for a few days. It's making it very difficult to get it registered this time around....not happy with it.
