A Surprisingly Comfortable Base Model

I bought this car as a second vehicle. I was worried because it's a small sedan, and I have a tall husband and teenage son. It turns out that the Versa has plenty of room for me, my husband and both of our kids to fit comfortably at the same time, which is no small feat. I had to sell our last vehicle because we couldn't go anywhere as a family in it. I was impressed by how well this car handles. It has more power than I expected from a 4 cylinder engine. The fact that it also gets great gas mileage is a major plus! The quality of the cloth interior fabrics are low-end, but that's to be expected as this is a base model after all. I like the fact that even the stock stereo/cd player has an auxiliary jack for an mp3 player. The Versa may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it does have enough of the essentials to make it a comfortable car to drive. I think if you're on a budget, and don't mind missing out on upgraded features, this is a great car to buy.

Bad design will cost consumers money

The first Versa was a 2012, no issues but was totalled in a head on with a meth head. Since the air bags saved my parents lives, we faithfully got a 2014 Versa to replace it. This car has been OK, some a/c and transmission issues. The major problem is that the design of the car allows dirt and debris to clog the drain tube under the cowling. This then causes rain water to build up and eventually spray into the cab of the car. There is no way for the customer to prevent the issue or clean it themselves, rather we will have to take the car to the dealer and pay $365 to have them unplug it. Every 2-3 years the customer will have to pay to fix a design flaw. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Keating Nissan feels that they offered three "great" options, ranging from $365 to over $3000, depending on which way we would like to be raked over the coals. The customer should not be financially responsible for correcting Nissan's mistake, not even just once but REPEATEDLY. Unacceptable big business greed.

Mos reliable car I have owned is a Toyota car

This vehicle is junk, I'm sorry about that but I have to be truthful. It's not even worth one star but my review can't be submitted if I don't choose at least one star. Thank you.

2nd Versa I've Owned

We purchased the versa hatchback the first year they were made and we were generally pleased with it. It had a few issues, recalls but the car dod us well. I have a 2014 Note now and so far I like it (I've only had it for a few weeks). Small but spacious and good on gas

It has been Reliable.

This car is nothing to write home about. My base model doesn't have the bells and whistles but it has been reliable as HECK for at least 3-4 years and counting.
