Fantastic Classic!

I've wanted a Fiero since the 80's - found one in fantastic condition with ridiculously low miles. Couldn't be happier!

Heckuva lot of fun!

Had a blast with my 85 Fiero GT. It will scoot at the touch of the gas pedal. Comfortable to drive, responsive steering. Very stable in the corners. It makes commuting to work somuch fun you'll want to live further away from work. Biggest complaint is the short life of the upholstery. at 80,000, my seats were worn through at the entry side. Consider having them recovered in some pleather/leather or if they are in good shape fit them with a well-fitted seat cover. Very little mechanical troubleover the 40K miles I put on mine. The AC compressor is a bit short lived though. One thing watch for ... kinking the coolant tubes that run from radiator to the engine ... Iforgot that the Fiero has 4"of ground clearanceandI went over 6" tall asphalt speed bumps in truck loading area ...OOPS. If you belly the car like that, the pipes will kink, causing the rubber coolant hose to flatten at the engine.. causing an overheat problem. Replace the coolant tubes and don't drive over high obstacles any more. Still, The Fiero GT was my favorite commuter car.
