I miss my Olds Bravada
I'm still wondering why in the heck the Olds Bravada is no longer being made. No, the Chevy trailblazer did not take it's place. Not in a millions years. I've owned both. Nothing beats the comfort, ride and luxury of the Bravada. If you are thinking about the Pontiac G5- take a look at the trunk opening. If you plan on putting anything bigger than a shoe box in the back, forget it. You have to push your items through the front seat to get them into the trunk. I'm really disappointed. I looked at the vehicle through the front seat and saw all the room. Never thinking to take a look at the trunk opening first! I purchased the vehicle becasue of the rising gas prices. I get 320 miles per tank- That's a good thing. The wheel covers are never clean and shining, due to the brake dust. I'd rather see moon covers on the wheels to compensate for the ease of cleaning. Live and learn

The most annoying new car I've ever owned.
I have driven this car for about 1000 miles now. It sounds like the windows are open when driven at speeds above 45MPH. The wind noise exceeds the radio listening noise. When stepping on the breaks the stering wheel shakes in my hands. The trunck of the car is big but the opening of the trunk is rather small. I like the car's MPG. The standard features of he standard car leave something to be desired.

Great little car!
I just got me a base model with the sun & sound package and the sport package. This is an aweome little car! It rides very well and glides over the potholes. The seats are very comfortable. I love my power sunroof but I am going to get a wind deflector for it because and it is a little noisy with the wind hitting it when opened. The handling is great with good pickup and tight steering. I can whip in and out of traffic and parking spots easy because the turning radius is awesome also. My only real complaint is that it does have horrible blind spots. I figured when I kept reading about all the complaints about the bliind spots that people were just blowing it out of proprtion but it is bad. I am already getting used to it. I have added the small little mirrors onto my main mirrors and this helps a lot. Also, when backing up you can see below and above the rear spoiler ok but if backing up on an incline you can't see anything so that takes some getting used to also. All in all, this is a great car for a great price!

Reliable and comfortable to drive
Handles well with good acceleration! Got lots of standard features like satellite radio, seven speaker pioneer stereo system, keyless entry, nice choice of wheels, and I even get 35 miles to the gallon on the highway. Quiet and comfortable ride. Don't really like the braking however, because there is a little vibration when braking at higher speeds (55-60mph+).

i cant believe they overlook the ebrake design.
Im satisfied with the cars performance even though i have the base model.Tested it against a car twice as expesive it beat it.Bad things about it: awkward ebrake design, governer kicks in partially at 100 and fully at 110 i wish i could have gotten a yellow one..But overall good for its price..I never thought id be happy driving a pontiac but stuff happens.

Very Pleased
I bought a base model for inexpensive commutes around town. I am very pleased with the car. For around $15,000 I believe I bought the best car in its class. Now I do not want to drive the expensive family car at all. I would strongly recommend this above a Hyundai, Suzuki, Kia or Ford. Great car!

Our First Car
We thought we'd check the markets for a new car we could actually afford (me being in University), and we happened across the G5. It's everything we need, plus it looks nice, too. We have the SE coupe 5-speed, and I love the short shifter. Great little car!

Most reliable
With just a little four-banger under the hood, it's a sprightly little machine. Has enough power for any situation. Rides nicely at slow and high speeds. Only discomfort is fastening my seat belt when the folding storage bin is in the down position. Otherwise, a useful car. Gas mileage si satisfactory, too.
