hands down best car from pontiac ever

i have a 2.0l 5 speed that gets incredible fuel economy. thinking that being only a 2.0l it would have no power, i was skeptical. wait. no i wasn't. my dad has a 94 le 2.0 5 speed that has 445987km on the original engine, clutch and transmission. only issues we have had is water pump and alternators. in winter it heats only enough to keep you at a safe temp, but that can be fixed by blocking the radiator of with cardboard. car gets 1000 km to a tank an still burns the front tires off! only a 2.0!!! same with mine. only has 257023 km but still. phenomenol fuel econ, they look not to shabby and actually hand really good. steal sway bars from a 3.1l car and you got a race car. 2 thumbs up on these awesome cars

First car still running like a champ

Got this car for my 16th birthday, and I'm the second owner. Only real issue was the radiator, which I was able to fix myself. The alternator gave some issues, but I disregard that as the car was 16 years old when it happened. Take care of it, and it will take care of you. GM had an interesting choice of interior styling, but hey it was the 90s....lots of people were making interesting choices back then. The parking brake is probably the funniest part about the interior. For those of you who have been inside the 4 cyl automatic, you know what I'm talking about.

Fun car and reliable

I bought my Sunbird as my very first car. Loved it. mine was a 5 speed, V6. Fully loaded. Car was fast, and could take a beating. Had normal ware n tare of course, but aside from the usual brake pads and shocks every so often, ran well. Not only was this car a good car, but did it with ease. And it was a looker for the year!

Sunbird...More Like Dead Bird!

Getting your first car for your high school graduation present is the best...but the best turned into the worst after my 30 day warranty! On the 31st day I got a letter that my vehicle was on recall for a brake issue. That was fixed then the transmission went out. Needless to say after that I had mechanical problem are mechanical problem. Once one thing was fixed the other broke. The rear defroster stripes on the rear window never really worked. And the rear brake lights had to be replace every 2 months. The car also had alignment issues. I think the vehicle was overall disaster purchase!
