2001 Pontiac Sunfire consumer reviews

I purchased this car for my daughter her freshman year in college in 2002 with 13,000 miles. It is now 2009 and has over 87,000 miles. this has been a fantastic car for her. It has always been dependable. She has driven it from Virginia, Ohio and Florida. We've put on two sets of tires, two sets of brakes rotated and changed oil every five thousand miles and a tune-up. I can't wait until she buys a new car so I can get it back.

I bought my car in October of 2006. In the 2 years I've had it I haven't had any problems at all. I wash it, keep the oil changed, and I don't mishandle it. I used to drive a 16 year old ford ranger, so this car has been heaven since I bought it. The only thing I wish it had was power locks and power windows. Other than that, I love my car and will drive it until it dies or I can afford a hybrid.

I bought this used from a dealer because it was affordable, and now I'm paying for it. I've had so many pricey under-the-hood problems with this car in the 2.5 years I've owned it. When I share my complaints with other previous Sunfire owners, most of them agree and throw in their own horror stories. I'm counting down the days until I can get a new used car that ISN'T a Sunfire.

i have owned my Sunfire since i was 17 and I am now 22 years old and i still love it. I have been having a few minor problems with it, but that will come with age. overall i am happy with my car, i am a little upset of the little value this car now has but I plan to keep it till it cant take no more.
