Reliable. Great on gas. 36MPG

I have loved this car for almost 12 years. I usually trade after 8-10 years. I did not want to give up this car. I would like to sell to someone who needs a reliable car to get to work or school.

Well built economical and versatile.

Really a great car. Showing my faith in Toyota engines,I bought mine as a one owner car with 250,000 miles on it, the only dissapointment was the starter failing within the first month. Aside from the normal front brakes and shocks,it has needed nothing.Drives well, peppy enough with the 5speed,30 to 36 mpg overall, and I love the room when the seats are folded down.I would highly recommend this car to anyone.

Great Vehicle

I owned a 2006 Pontiac Vibe for 5 years. I took good care of it, but I also put this thing through the ringer and back. I was really impressed with its power and ability to pickup speed. The turn radius is better than many cars (I could make a u-turn into the left lane!). It handled really well too. I could go on about the breaking, suspension, low maintenance, great gas mileage, but it all boils down to, it is a great vehicle.

Most Reliable and Fun Car I've Owned

I purchased my 2006 Pontiac Vibe new and I have been the main driver since then. While it's bones may be that of a common Corolla, Pontiac put some very nice finishing touches, creature comforts for the most part, that really have made the car a joy to drive. The one that I have made the most use of and I wish could be found in more vehicles, is the simple electrical outlet near the gear shift. Reliability I'm horrible at taking care of cars and I've gone way too long between oil changes far too many times, but this car has taken all of my abuse and kept on chugging. Now that we have both gotten older I've tried to mend my ways and become better about those oil changes. The car has also started to speak up a bit more when gets closer to that time. Driving It's really just a tall Corolla hatchback. You're not going to be winning any drag races or even feel like you might, but the ride is good enough. I've had no problems with handling in sun, rain, high winds, snow or sleet. The car is a work horse that will serve you well as long as you treat it well.

Best Car I have ever owned and driven

I got this car as the second owner. It had already about 45,000 miles on it. It was owned by an older lady she took care of it and just drove it for trips. I needed a vehicle for college since I was commuting to the university. It has now been over 8 years now that I have had it and it still runs! I have abused this car on miles and maintenance and it still runs amazing. It now has 267,000 miles and I am in shock on how much it has lasted. It was great for me, it didn't give me any issues when in college. The first big issue I had was transmission fluid change at 100,000 miles. I had to replace the tires like any other car about 5 times now. I have driven everywhere with it, from commuting daily to school and work, to road trips, errands, daily life commute, it has just been with me everywhere. This is the best car I have ever had compared to other cars from friends and family. My own family members are amazed on how much this car has lasted. It looks a bit beat up now but still the engine drives very smooth. LOVE THIS CAR!!

Vibe

Its really a nice reliable car I drove all over US and Canada and its really good. This is by far the best car we've ever owned. 220k and still great. Only repairs have been brakes, battery, serpentine belt, wiper blades and tires. Regular maintenance important, done with tranny fluid at each 50k, plugs at each 100k, same with coolant. Oil and filter every 5k. Still have original alternator, a/c unit (no recharge needed on freon), muffler system, hoses. Stock radio w/ 5 cd changer blew after 3 years-replaced with after market. Almost 10 years and this car is still going. Hope to get 230k then it's time to retire the Vibe....with tears in my eyes then I am sure.

Bought with Grampa in mind

My car was dying and was considered an "in town only car." I'm responsible for taking my 96 yr old Dad to multiple Dr appts wkly. This car fits the bill. Almost identical in Dad's approach to entering and exiting prior car with minimum fuss for him. Plus, I can store his walker in the back and still have passenger access with back seats. The trunk in my prior car made me put walker in back seat thus not allowing any other passengers other than Dad. Very happy!
