Toyota reliability with GT performance

The Pontiac Vibe GT has the reliability of a Toyota Matrix, with a bit more personality and performance. It handles well and is fun to drive, yet the vibe with its flat-folding rear seats is still very utilitarian.

I've owned 3 of these. Yes, they are THAT good

Well they have a Toyota engine and fold down rear seats with plastic backing make for phenomenal cargo space. Only down side is radio volume control knobs dont work well.

Very reliable car.

Has been an excellent car. Bought it new in 2009. Nice to drive and handy, minimal repairs. Toyota powertrain in it is great, 2.4 engine. Would recommend.

Reliable, affordable used car

We bought this car as a backup car to use for local errands, commuting to work, etc. and have been very happy with it. We bought it based on solid reviews and the fact that the insides are Toyota parts at a very reasonable price, and haven't been disappointed.

Great car!

I bought this Vibe new in 2009. It has been perhaps the best most reliable car I have ever owned. Nothing has ever broken. Every time I fill up the back, I say to myself, "Good thing I bought truck." It is basically a Toyota Matrix with some small styling differences and a lower price. The seats are a little hard, but since I sit on a gel seat in any vehicle, it is a non-issue for me. It is also not a sports car, but it is peppy enough for me...again another non-issue. If I have one criticism it is that the window posts reduce viability. I have adjusted my habits to include a little extra rubbernecking before proceeding into traffic. The ONLY reason I am shopping for another car, is that my need to haul even more stuff has grown and I need a bit more cargo space...like a mini van. Seriously, the cargo space is amazing for a car of this size. The back seats are 40/60s and quickly fold completely flat. You just can't beat that.

A Toyota Matrix in Pontiac clothing

Mine is the all wheel drive version. Does an adequate job of getting around in snow. The hatch-back and fold down rear seats make this useful for hauling over sized object around, too. Good little car.

Small, but very functional!

This car is everything I need! I have a teenager and a 6 year old so I was looking for 4 door sedans. I came across this Pontiac Vibe with very low mileage, one owner. The car is now almost 10 years old and runs like brand new! Very happy with my new vehicle! Good gas mileage, hatch back, backseats fold completely flat which is great for moving! Kinda like a small station wagon.
