Classic Beauty

Love it......... Classic and timeless style. I recently purchased a 2005 with 30k miles that is in the utmost pristine condition. Enjoying the 5 speed manual transmission, smooth gears with lots of torque. Very affordable luxury sports car.

To drive royalty.

Porsche company makes airplane Motors to perfection. But to drive a car made from Porsche is a luxury the same performance in acceleration and steering a most excellent choice.

Fun to Drive, Great Styling

Fun car to drive and own. I purchased a used example but performed and drove like new. Do you research and choose one with no accidents and has been taken care of. It will provide years of happiness.

This is my second Boxster

I had a 97 Boxster and loved it. This 2005 is a much improved auto. This car is a blast to drive gas mileage is not bad, and it?s reliable. This is my daily commuter, but wife and I have had a lot of fun on day and weekend trips.

High performance, fun to drive

Most fun car I've owned! Get the supercar performance without breaking the bank. Quick in a straight line but this thing was built for the curves and track. Very responsive steering, stops on a dime. I love the lines and curves of this car, interior is nice nothing fancy. Comfortable seats.

Fun to Drive, No problems. Exceptional

It does what you expect from a Porsche. It feels powerful. It gets a lot of compliments. It's actually very reliable. 2005 was the year they became more reliable. That's why I bought this model. I have enjoyed it immensely.

Just a great car

I drove this car back and forth to work for 4 years. I also took several road trips in my Boxster including up the California coast. The sound and handling of the car is just fantastic rowing through the gears with the top down on a great road is the best. This is a great alternative if you cant afford a brand new Porsche. However, there is higher then average maintenance and repair bills to consider. Also, be prepared for envious glances and other types of attention as you drive, especially with the top down.

Best Sports Car for the twisty roads

I have owned the Boxster for 7 years. I have driven all the other sporty cars - Corvettes of all ages, Mustangs, Miatas, Honda 2000, BMW Z3. There is something to be said for all of them. In terms of balance though the Boxster has it nailed. The handling with its low center of gravity makes other cars seem ponderous. At the end of a day trip with occasional gusts into the triple digits, the fuel economy hovers around 30 mpg! That's how they win all those races. On the ownership side the only thing I did unscheduled was replace the water pump which is probably short lived from storing it winters. The tires don't last all that long on the rear, 10,000 miles is about the limit. The ride could be better but it is a sports car after all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
