The Porsche for Grown Ups
This car is a well handling, high performance luxury sedan for real adults who enjoy performance cars but don't 'fit' into the 911 anymore. It is a vastly improved take on the concept that led to the 928 but has far better handling and performance. Four doors, plenty of room and a design that grows on you. Definitely a Porsche and all it should be. Much more so than a Cayenne. This car is a joy to drive on winding roads and gets more nimble as you increase speeds.

Incredible suspension and great power!
Porsche really knows how to engineer a car. I've owned 6 Porsche 911's and went to the dealership intending to buy another. But I drove the Panamera S and it just felt RIGHT. It handles like a larger 911, which it basically is. Since owning it for a month and driving it 1800 miles, I've come to realize that its suspension is one of the reasons it felt so good on the test drive. The suspension damping and springs are perfect. Much better than my wife's luxury sport sedan of a different brand. She noticed that, too. This one has the 3.0 turbo, and is a dream to drive on road trips. It has amazing passing abilities on back roads. I'm very happy with this car, and that's saying a lot. It's only my 3rd new car purchase (for myself) in 35 years, so I rarely find a new car worth the premium, but I think this one is, IMO.
