2016 smart ForTwo consumer reviews

I have a 2016 and I an 6’ 4” my wife is 5’ and we are both 70. We use it every day and we live in a retirement community. We can park it right beside the golf carts. It is fun to drive with good gas mileage. It is not our trip car for sure but it takes up very little space up in our garage. It feels like a regular car once you are driving it . In fact it feels like a sport car. I don’t get out of a regular car very well but this is almost like a SUV to get out of. Our other car is a Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige . When we go from the Smart to the GV70 you think you are in a Bentley! The 3 cylinder vibrates or shakes (not crazy)through the first 5 mph but after that it is fine. It is not a car for everyone but for us it is the cat’s meow. We use it every day while the GV70 goes weeks without moving.

This has been a great vehicle for the last 6 years. It saves a lot of space in the garage, it's fun to drive with the manual transmission, and it stands out amongst all of the other cars on the road. It is a perfect fit for the beach town that I reside in. I have also driven it on long road trips and it was completely comfortable and capable. Personality and unique details seem to be difficult to find in most new vehicles today. I am grateful to own "compact, forward thinking" transportation that never gets boring and continues to turn heads.

GREAT GAS MILLAGE. WILL BE PERFECT FOR A SMART CAR MEMBER. HAS 6 AIR BAGS AND IS ONE OF THE SAVEFT SMALL CARS BUILT. SPECIAL REAR WINDOW HARDWARE ALLOWING AIR TO PASS THROUGH WITH OUT THE NEED FOR THE AC.

The smart fortwo has been a great commuter car, best turning radius of any car sold in US, easy to park, 40-45 miles per gallon, fun shifting the 5-speed, fixed glass moon roof makes the car feel very spacious for its size. High strength steel safety cell and numerous airbags with excellent NHTSA rating always made me feel safe when commuting on back roads or the highway.

This car met all of my needs. Enough leg room. Soft ride. Very fast and easy to drive and park. Parks on any place any corner.

Bought it for commute to work for my wife, nothing can beat this running around town even on freeways it handles like full size car. Totally different than earlier Smart car. Crosswind assist really effectiv in this little car during windstorms.It workes same as my Mercedes.

I wanted a car that would make me smile every day, and the Smart Fortwo is it! It's compact, tiny, adorable, U-turns like no other, and is great on gas! My 6'3" tall husband rides comfortably in the passenger seat and is pleasantly surprised with how roomy and comfy it is! The transmission can be a bit jerky in speeds less than 10mph (thanks SoCal traffic), but I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. That hasn't deterred my joy one bit. I get about 40 miles per gallon and she handles hills and mountains with no problem.

The car can pick up and go when you need it to. It may look small but the inside feels like you are in a mid size car.

I loved the car so much and found a great 2008, I bought it. Have had it a month and LOVE it. It?s perfect for one person or two. More room than you?d think!
