Tons of options 170000 miles only oil changes, air filter and tires. Cabin filter is a nice touch. Side defrosting mirrors. Great winter vehicle, 4-wheel drive.

I have this car was not aware 2008 2009 were built with a design flaw of cracked head. Suzuki have acknowledged this. CYLINDER HEAD. MODEL(S): GRAND VITARA (JB) WITH 2.4L ENGINE YEAR: 2009 (START OF PRODUCTION THROUGH JULY, 1 2009) CONDITION: Engine overheating with possible Internal Engine Noise. The engine coolant may leak from the cooling jacket into the Camshaft Housing of the Cylinder Head. There will be no external coolant leak and there will likely be evidence of coolant contamination in the engine oil. CAUSE: Suzuki has determined that certain 2009 Grand Vitara vehicles may develop a crack(s) between cylinder head bolt(s) and casting plug(s). This car met our needs For almost 9 years until it decided to accelerate on its own into a wall and total itself . Something was wrong with the electronics which cause this immediate acceleration into the wall.

Had this car for past 7 years. Great car to drive in any weather conditions. Very Reliable. Had to replace couple of things such as radiator, headlight bulbs, gas cap, battery 2 times. Had No issues with transmission or motor. As with any car if you maintain it , it will run forever.

This suv is a great car for a family of 4.great for everyday use,room for storage and great on the hwy. The v-6 option plenty of power for pulling a small rv and are boat.

I bought the grand Vitara used. I put over 100,000 k on it. Not any major work ever needed done. Used as a daily commute . Very reliable. Only issue gas mileage so don't use as a long distance daily commute . Other than mpg great little suv.

This van took me way up on the hills of blue mt in Jamaica. Road basically is none existent... Dirt...huge holes terrible rd conditions plus the hill way very steep. It managed the rd excellent. The best off rd vehicle with comfort and power. I have driven other SUV and no other managed the rd like my 08 grand vitara. Very fuel efficient.

The two paint chips from a rock on the right rear door and next to the right rear view mirror is all I can find on the vehicle in need of repaint. The engine purrs and the transmission shifts smooth as if increasing velocity in an advanced craft. On the highway when a quick acceleration is required the transmission responds simultaneously with the increased pressure on the accelerator pedal. Immediate is not fast enough or should I say so well coordinated this luxury sport utility vehicle shifts like a Cadillac. A great car for the money i spend for it! It`s 2008, but in excellent condition! Is not the roomyest or fastest, but enougth in this class for almost all needs in the city and dayli activities
