No problems just enjoyment

Got a good price for loaded 2.0t (26,200.00) Dsg is quick but there is a wee turbo lag. Handling great as expected and have held my own with souped up BMW's and Suburu's..no problem .. Lots of nice features not usually found in one car in that price range ..No trips to the shop as expected.

Bang$ for Da Buck$

Bought this car because I am broke as a joke and it was better than a civic and comparably priced. I am very happy with this car. Happy a 2004 Volvo S60, so this car should have been a huge down-grade. While it doesnt match up to that s60, there is not too significant a gap between my happiness with the jetta compared to the volvo. They hooked it up @ the dlr and gave me the wolfsburg for the same price. It has a sunroof, ipod jack, and other bonuses in trim that only add to the value. Many pros on this vehicle, only a few cons. One con is poor headlight illumination. Its not enough to be dangerous but it is poor compared to other similarly sized/priced vehicles. Another complaint is that the sound system simply doesnt bump. Whats good? Both of these can be fixed for small prices. A sub and some new bulbs and those problems are gone. So frankly, if these two are my only complaints, at $210/monthe, im sitting pretty.

Amazing car

When I first test-drove the 2007 vw jetta I thought it was kind of dull...but when i saw advertizement about the wolfsburg addition i was amazed. So i orded a cream coloured wolfsburg with a nice spoiler. A few weeks later i was driving down the highway and was hit by another car. The bonnet was smashed and the windshield was shattered... the car was totalled but i wasn't. THe car saved my life.

Great for the money

I love it. I shopped around and you couldn't get a better built, safer or more fully loaded car for the money. It's a poor man's BMW.

"... TEN THOUSAND."

ONE IN TEN THOUSAND... Volkswagen's popular Jetta sedan is a cut above the generic family four-door sedan, with mechanical components borrowed from the upscale Audi division, an exceptionally strong safety rating and a list of standard and optional equipment rarely found in this class. With slightly less rear-seat legroom than the more expensive Passat, the Jetta still provides the kind of "big car" feel you won't find in many of its competitors.

A great deal!

Extremely reliable, good ride and handling, a terrific highway cruiser at any speed, with all safety features - and at a very good price. I've had my base model 5 spd car for 7 mos. and I like it more each day. This is my fourth VW, and they drive like nothing else. Now that they are priced as VWs should be, it's a great deal. Stereo is very good, mileage not bad. I think the seats in the Passat are more comfortable than in the Jetta, but that's my biggest gripe. I had a minor issues with rear brakes, but VW fixed everything, and provided a loaner while they had my car. I can't ask for more.

Most unReliable car i've ever owned

With the price of the wolfsburg jetta being a tad cheaper for all you get , so is the quality! Since i've had the car it has been in the shop at least twice a month. I've had the radio replaced 3 times now - going on the fourth as of tuesday next week. Raddles Raddles and did i mention it raddles .The dash has had many parts replaced three times now and still the car sounds like a tool box. The instrument panel makes a wonderful buzzing sound that can be masked with the radio being turned up if it works. Aux output - whats this - i was able to plug my Ipod in the first month i had the car but what a surprise it no longer works. My last complaint is that the automatic transmission doesn't like to shift out of 2nd gear- oh and the air conditioner has also broke since i've had the car. Car has a great design , and offers a ton of standard options for the price, but don't be fooled the options rarely work. And when you're paying extra for insurance on a rental car for a week at a time or at least 10 days out of the month i would prefer to pay a bit more every month and have a higher quality vehicle.

Nice little Jetta

This is my first VW Jetta that I owned. All I can tell you is I'm really impressed for the whole package. Handle very nice and responsive. Fun to drive! Plus very nice audio systems. Another thing that really impressed me was I couldn't believed how quiet it is in site the car. I had own many Japanese brand name cars and my new 2007 Jetta beats them all!

4th VW Owned

I bought a 2007 Base Jetta 5 speed manual after difficulty finding a Black/Black 5 speed 2 door Rabbit. As this is my 3rd Jetta I am really impressed with enhancements from previous models as the 2007standard offerings far exceed other years and at less money....what a great car! But then again it is a VW. Jetta models offered above the base model (a.k.a Value Edition) offer little more for the expense. Dollar for dollar the Base Jetta could be the best 2007 new car / value on the market.
