I just bought it

I got a great deal on this vehicle, and I may just be a Volkswagen owner for life. Thank you so much. I'll buy again.

Don't buy a Volkswagen

Worst car I've ever owned. From the day we purchased it, we had recalls and problems with items other manufacturers perfected decades ago. The rear defroster never worked, the AM radio worked for the first 6 months, then stopped. The service manage suggested I go had an auxiliary booster installed instead of fixing it themselves. The windshield wipers stopped working and are only able to be fixed at the dealership. The road noise is the worst Ive ever heard and the "pleather" interior is complete junk. Volkswagen's might be nice sitting in the showroom, but the second the wheels start rolling, the problems begin and never stop

Love this car!

This car is a fun sporty car. Even though it is smaller on the outside, there is plenty of leg/head room inside. Gas mileage is fantastic.

Not the Most Reliable Car I've owned......

Bought the car used in early 2017 at 60k miles. Even though I purchased it from a VW dealer who supposedly inspected and repaired it before I bought it, it still had issues from day one. Sensors that go off when nothing's wrong, spark plugs that prematurely wore out, a $500 wiper blade motor that needed to be replaced. Compared to the Fords and GMs I've previously owned, I find that this car needs to be repaired more often (outside of routine maintenance) and the maintenance costs are expensive, even when I don't take it to a dealer. I'd look elsewhere. Very nice looking car though, and I enjoy it very much when something is not broken.

Reliable, but with electrical problems

With this car I've had an hour-long (one-way) commute and a couple of accidents. The car has held up through those things. The issues that I have are normal wear and tear (brakes wearing down, etc.) and electrical problems. For example, tire pressure light has been on pretty much since I bought the car - I've grown used to it now. I'm at about 115,000 miles now and it's about time to trade in, but the car has lasted me awhile.
