Runs great

Very spacious, huge trunk, great on gas, runs smooth, given me no problems..... one of the hubcaps from the left side of the car is missing

Totally sucked!

Was going to buy it but it thankfully, did not work out for me to buy this car. I drove it for a month before the dealership took it back. It was under 95,000 miles and already the engine had lost power. It should have had alot more pick up and alot more power when accelerator was to the floor it it would hesitate and then slowly get to freeway speed. My favorite thing about the Jetta was the auto-manuel transmission...

260,000km and still going strong!

Car has lots of room, very reliable and good mileage. Very low maintenance requirements. Changed breaks once, wires and plugs, timing belt at 150k and change oil every 15k. Simple, not flashy, safe and dependable vehicle.

Diesel is the way to go.

Good car for the money. also own a hybrid with similar mpg. Diesel performs great and the hybrid is underpowered for the hills of Seattle.

Waist of money and with out a car.

Hi there , I have a Jetta TSI 2014 model, financed this used car on 2014 with 15000km from a Volkswagen dealer with all the certifications and warranty’s it came . I have been servicing this car at the dealer ship since I bought it. When my car had 62000km its have a engine problem and I took it to them, they changed the engine timing belt-chain. I’m not 100% sure what exactly was the problem, since I didnt understand It. I asked a question to my dealership , if this problem was going to come back at the car , or maybe they should change the engine, since it was at the dealership for 12 days . The car was in good condition and I took car of it, they said ,it’s good to go ,fixed car and the problem it will not come back again. I didn’t pay anything since was under warranty . Today my car has 120000km and it has the same problem , they are asking $8500 to repair it for the same problem. Only this time the dealer told me it’s the other side of the engine , the other chain belt.I argued with them, for what they have said to me when it was under warranty, when they did repair it. Now the car is garbage and I still have to pay the financing of the car. I purchased that car at $22000 , today im with out a car and I can’t even sell it. Dealers answer to me ; that car is their lowest model . But I didn’t expect the car to last for only 120000km and its not paid off yet. Guys don’t buy that car, I have had different make cars and nnever had a engine failure like this on 120000km with all the dealers services . I can’t belied I’m without a car at that km .

Great deal, if you can find one

I bought this car in spite of it being recalled for commuter programming issue. It has been great so far. I have to say German engineering is amazing.

Great driving car for the money

For what most people consider an economy car, the Jetta provides a great driving experience. Highway speeds are not a problem in this well handling car.

My car went above and beyond.

I wouldn't change a thing in this car. It's traveled almost 120,000 miles across the country in just over 2 years and she hasn't stopped to complain yet! Comfy seats, quiet, smooth ride and great gas mileage! The stock sound system is better than I was expecting too when compared to some other vehicles in the same price range and style. All in all this car has gone above and beyond what I asked of it and I couldn't be happier!
