2015 Volkswagen Jetta consumer reviews

After the emissions scandal with VW, I was hesitant. I've wanted a Jetta TDi for a while and hadn't been disappointed by my previous Jetta 2.5SE before it was totaled. I was hesitant about buying another Volkswagen due to the brand image, but was reminded it wasn't the product that failed me so when I found a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta TDI with 17k miles and had been through the emissions program, I was eager to drive it. I was surprised with the acceleration, handling, and road presence. The 2.0L turbo was quiet and smooth whether it was on side road or passing trucks on the highway. The 6 speed manual transmission was smooth and the 284ft-lbs of torque made acceleration quick no matter the speed. With 4 passengers in the car no one reported feeling cramped. The 2015 Jetta was nicely equipped with the RCD-310 stereo which offers satellite radio and bluetooth, heated seats, and cruise control. If you are an options kind of person, this particular model is lacking, but that does not take away from how impressed I was with the car overall. Stopping is quick and confident with 4 wheel disc brakes and ABS and ride comfort is great, but could be better with multilink rear suspension leveling the car out in the curves. The facelift for 2015, while minor does freshen up the car a bit in subtle ways. I was definitely surprised with the 2015 Jetta TDI and had it been a certified preowned, it would be in my driveway today.

Very good car. Worth your money. Peace of mind and comfort. Nice interior and exterior design and drives nicely.

The car has a 14 gallon tank. I use Diesel fuel. Diesel fuel prices don't jump up and down like Regular Gas does. I can get up to 700 miles on a tank of fuel with mostly Highway driving. It takes bumps really nice. Has a lot of get up and go when needed. I like the Diesel because the engine last longer. Only needs service once a year. The only reason I am selling this car is because I want to move up to the 2015 Passat Diesel. My car is a buy back but I still want a Diesel.

This is the perfect midsize car! Great family car and awesome features! Stylish interior and the engine seems powerful.

I am a three time owner of a TDI and this one is going no where. My son has my beetle TDI and I traded in my 2006 for my present Jetta. User friendly for driver and love the phone apt. only questionable problem is the head rest. Not a good fit for me. can't readjust to fit. was a repo

So far, so good. Bought a 2015 Jetta with 20K miles. So far, absolutely no problems. Uses more gas than I was used to with my Hybrid, but thats to be expected. Great pick-up. Basic, yet stylish interior.

Can not buy a better car for the price or quality . This car gets 54 mpg you can drive the car for 500 to 1000 miles get out play a round of golf or go dancing its that easy to drive and is very comfortable for long trips

Purchased this car for college aged daughter. It does all you can ask four. Good performance, great driving manners, economical. Its a good car at a great value.

Good quality, interior style and technology leaves something to be desired but for the price its great value. Good unexpected power from the 1.8 l turbo.

The car drives smooth and comfortable. Has amazing speakers that will make your ride very enjoyable. The car has awesome great mileage as well.
