Awesome Value !!! FUEL ECONOMY !!!! WOW!!!!
We were looking to purchase a new vehicle to improve upon fuel economy. WOW ! this newly designed Jetta hands down has really done a great job with this. Great Job VW!! Regular Unleaded fuel (the inexpensive stuff), although I only use EXXON, I do not recommend the inexpensive brand gas, VW just do not run well on cheap gas. They are more fuel efficient on quality fuel. My Jetta was predicted to produce 40 hwy MPG, I have maintained 42-43 MPG per tank since driving off the lot 4 months ago !!!! I have the 2019 VW Jetta SEL with automatic transmission. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!! super comfortable, great sound system, heated seats are wonderful on cold days! Great smooth ride, handles very well, responsive, will "get up and go" on the highway, merging into traffic without taking your life into your hands with this turbo 4 cyl, no problem! Only remote issue, but no biggie, this is a super light car, if you think it will do great in deep snow, even though it is front wheel drive, think again, it is super light for fuel economy. She gets a little "squirrely" in snow. Love the Apple Car Play !! What have I done without this my whole life ? Oh.. one more not so crazy about item.. the wheels... hmmm .. not so sporty to me.. but, for the money, you can afford to invest in those later. LOVE MY JETTA !! Under $25,000 with 42 mpg and a 72k warranty!!!! No other Manufacturer can come close ! I will run the wheels off of my Jetta! HUGE WIN !

Great, reliable and good looking car!
This car, Jetta SE 2019 was the most comfortable car I drove out of several brand new cars when making my decision. Nice leg room and adjustable seat, mirrors adjusted to make great surrounding vision, beautiful car over all and I look good in it.

Less than 1 year old and so many problems already
So I’ve had my 2019 Jetta Execline for almost 9 months now and I am not happy with this purchase. It is also my first VW car and German car in general. I can’t say I hate it but I definitely don’t like it. It is kind of a long review but I hope it’ll be helpful for somebody. There are things that I like about the car tho. To me the car really looks nice on the outside and very attractive and comfortable inside. It drives comfortable and is quick enough even tho it’s only 1.4 Turbo. Gas consumption is good. My favourite are the features of the car: digital cockpit, Beats Audio, LED lights, interior lighting, adapting cruise control, etc. For its price the car is loaded with technologies. Unfortunately, there are things that make me want to get rid of it. Over the last 9 months of having the car I made around 6 visits to service department already. When the whole idea of buying a brand new car is to bring it once a year for scheduled maintenance. The first 4 visits were to fix the rattle in the front right speaker (replaced the speaker, took the door apart multiple times, lubricated all the connections inside, filled it with foam and put some kind of insert behind the door panel). Thankfully that problem was fixed. Then once the cold temperature hit, the interior started making noises (vibrations, rattles, clicking and cracking noises). I thought maybe it’s just the way the car is in cold temperatures but now that it’s closer to Spring and temperature is rising, the noises are not gone and some are even worse. As much as I try not to pay attention to it, it is still noticeable. Whenever there’s snow and ice on the car, the back window and sunroof makes loud vibrating and cracking noises (but that’s understandable because all rubbers and connections freeze). On a bumpy road you can hear vibrations in dashboard and gear shifter, and a loud clicking noise in corners of front panel (it doesn’t make sense why would interior make that much noise when most of the parts are made of soft materials). Anyway, I went back to the dealer with these issues, they took it for a drive and didn’t hear any noise what I pointed out but they found a leak in the transmission and said it causes slight vibration. That is getting fixed now. This service visit is now taking over 2 weeks because the part is on backorder and is not expected to arrive in the next 4 weeks. In the meantime I am driving rental that dealer provided. Some issues that I didn’t address to the dealer yet: blind spot monitoring lights up when there’s no cars around (usually notice it in the night, rainy or snowy days); entertainment system with navigation working while driving on a highway completely shot off for a minute. It is very frustrating to have a brand new car that has so many problems and you have to fix something almost every month. In addition to this there’s already multiple recalls on these cars. Unfortunately, it seems like I’m just stuck with the car for the next 6 years because dealer most likely will not trade the car and will keep fixing things while it’s under warranty. Or sometimes you hear their favourite excuse - “It is normal for any cars”. I feel like this has been too many problems already and the car is not even a 1 year old. Honestly, wish I could get rid of the car.

Best driving car I've had!
Still new to owning it, but VE is a reliable and trusted brand, so I think I can depend on this car. Despite the 1.4 L engine, this Jetta has some serious zip. Once it gets cruising, the ride is smooth and comfortable. This car handles well and is relatively quiet. There is some slight wind noise, but nothing terrible or out of the ordinary for a mid range sedan. For as big as I am (>6ft, broad shoulders) there is ample leg room and head room in the driver's seat and front passanger seat. My shoulders feel slightly cramped against the doors, but like I said, I am a big guy. The infotainment center and Steering wheel controls are very user friendly. The gas mileage is amazing so far. Though smaller, there is plenty of trunk space for every day errands and even short travel trips. I have yet to see how thi car performs in hazardous conditions, but am excited to a long future with my new Jetta.

Great comfort of driving for short people!
I have trouble finding a car because I am short and occasionally need a walker. The Jetta has the best visibility of any car I have driven! Very large trunk can hold walker or wheelchair. In addition the back seats fold down for even more storage space. I have found online videos on how to use the many safety features. Love not having to get out my key to unlock the car door! In other words, I love love love this car!

Honestly exceptionally built, down to the interior cloth choices and threading on dash board and doors. Absolutely love the safety features and having a sunroof again! Lots of interior space.

Great car for price (stereo sucks so only buy Beat
My 3rd consecutive VW! Great fit & finish. 2019 R Line Jetta model I bought has best wheels & interior trim. HOWEVER, if you like music in your car, be forewarned it’s the WORST NEW CAR STEREO I’ve ever had. The next model up, the SEL has the Beats system and it’s pretty good (tho not as phenomenal as the Fender). For what it cost me to put in a new amp, replace the speakers and put in a modest sub, it woulda been less to buy the SEL! To end on a positive note, I’ve been averaging 45 mpg highway @55-70 mph: Kudos to VW!!

Good ride. Quiet and comfortable.
So far I am pleased with this car. It has a nice quiet ride, the handling is good, and the gas mileage has been very good. The car is roomy and the trunk space is roomy as well.
