2013 Volkswagen Passat consumer reviews

Over several decades I’ve purchased at least 10 different new cars from a variety of manufacturers (both American and foreign) and my 2013 VW Passat has proven to be the best of all. This Passat just went over 100,000 miles and so far it has required only the expected maintenance items (brakes, tires, battery, wipers, a couple of new light bulbs, plus the recommended oil changes with a premium synthetic oil). It has the underrated 2.5L 5-cyl gas engine and it runs just as well today as it did when new.

This car exceeds all expectations and I have owned Volkswagons before and love the reliability and durability. Plenty of room yet stylish and great performance and mileage

Nice looking and stylish 5 cyl for extra performance, durable and reliable, gas saver, comfort and roomy, overall better than a japanese or a us made.

So far so good. I am praying my car stays reliable & free of too many repairs. I'm loving the vehicle so far. It's very easy to handle & drive. Comfortable seats & a nice ride.

I was driving a 16-year old Passat which was getting too expensive to keep on the road. I liked it and like the new one even more. The car is powerful, the gas mileage ( regular gas ) is excellent, the ride is smooth and quiet

Runs smooth. Has a nice interior. Takes Diesel fuel. Not a big fan of. The car fits the needs I have. Haven’t tested on the highway yet.

A very good car at a good price and at an excellent condition. The low mileage along with the showroom condition and the clean record was the decisive reason for the purchase.

The car is good , it has more leg room, good size of ledge room . 2.5 liter engine . nice exterior color and interior also good color.

This acr met all of my needs. It has plenty of legroom in the front and back side. It has Bluetooth.I really like the looks of this car

Being a 2.5L, I-5 engine, it is powerful. The interior is quite nice. Heated seats, defrosting side mirrors, navigation system, moon roof, and steering wheel controls are excellent. I'm used to Honda Civic sized cars, but this car is not too much more bigger than those. It still has plenty of interior room along with an arm rest/cup holder combo in the back. The trunk is extremely roomy too. My only complaints with it are that the cruise controls are on the signal light switch, there is only one trip meter (instead of A and B trips), and the windshield wiper blades cannot be pulled up off the windshield in preparation of snow. Had it only for a few weeks, but I love it. Stylish, powerful, and the extras are worth it. Also, the analog clock amuses every now and then. Totally unnecessary but it makes it stylish.
