2020 Volkswagen Passat consumer reviews

There is plenty of room in the car. You don't bang your head getting in. Plenty of leg room throughout the vehicle. The only thing I keep complaining about is the seat handle to slide the seat back and forth being on the right of the seat.

I love everything about the Volkswagen Passat. From the gas mileage to the comfort I couldn’t see myself with any other car. I will definitely stay with Volkswagen for years to come.

Great vehicle thus far for the price. Have only had the vehicle for a total of 3 days now but has been an enjoyable experience.

This is my 5th Passat. After leasing my first 4, I decided to buy this one. It is a great family car, with a smooth ride and great pick-up. The 2020 was redesigned and I really like how it is put together. I got a great deal from the dealer and with their great service, I couldn't be happier.

We only have the car 2 days, but so for OK. We are curious to see how the total performance will be after some more miles

I purchased a 2020 Volkswagen Passat and could not be happier. I will get right to the point. It is a sport sedan with a wonderful European feel of an Audi A6. Granted the engine is not the same, but it has a refined feel when driving. A feeling of quality with good pickup, smooth and quiet ride. The seats are very comfortable, firm but not hard and they don't hug your thighs like some other cars. You won't be as fatigued driving for several hours vs other cars. You feel like your driving a refined car with great leg room in the front and back and it comes with a huge trunk so you won't miss your SUV. Even the basic audio system is great. I had 3 smaller SUV's from Jeep to Ford Escape, and when I drove a new Japanese SUV which was very nice but with weak acceleration again to get better fuel economy, I decided I wanted to drive a fun car, yes a car again. Lets be honest, how often do you drive in the snow and need an SUV. If the weather is that bad, you just stay home. For daily driving, you want a fun car, a refined car and one that makes you feel good on winding roads, and this car is it. Yes Honda and Toyota makes great cars but they don't provide the sport sedan feel that the Passat give you. With the little extra torque of the 2020, new sheet metal, and updated interior, this is an awesome car that is a pleasure to drive every single time. The changing lane, front, back and side warning system is great. Thankfully you can control the distance of the front warning system to your taste. Its cool that with having cruise control on, the car will slow down automatically if a car in front of you gets too close. It speeds up again if the car in front starts to move faster. The dash looks great by the way with simple controls on the display with the digital middle section that you can go through the different menus. The Android Play works great too by the way. I highly recommend it.
