2012 Volkswagen Tiguan consumer reviews

This car met none of my needs. Plus it has all kinds of expensive repairs going on. The car has 135,000 miles and needs camshaft cover replaced and now coolant system is going crazy. Will never buy VW again.

Way too many costly repairs. Have had to repair the turbo twice with only 100,000 miles. Getting rid of it and never buying a VW again.

I fell in love on the test drive, and I look forward to many years in this well-rounded rig. Give it a try; you just might love it, too.

Comfortable and reliable. Family loves it and it's great in all weather. Plenty of room for construction with the backseats down. Heated seats are great when it's cold outside.

This car sits up higher than regular cars and is very comfortable. View out the back window is good. It has great pickup. Only one thing has had to be fixed outside of the regular service in seven years!

Everything I needed, with a little extra. Great in town and highway, comfortable with plenty adjustables for everyone, even the back seat! Dual climate control is one of those little extras which turned out to be awesome. Just love driving this car!

This Tiguan has more than enough room for us. I am 6'2" tall and I can drive comfortably and also ride in the front or back . It's a nice size (not too big or small) and has ample room in the back hatch.

2 weeks into ownership I have been pleasantly surprised at the features in this vehicle. Time will tell as I let go my beloved and pampered 2003 Honda Accord at 470,000 miles for this Tiguan. My plan is to put at least 300,000 miles over next 10 years, with that said this vehicle has the features I was looking for at the price I was willing to live with, With God as my co-pilot we shall see how it goes!?

This car was so much fun to drive. This was my first SUV and I will never go back to a sedan. The size was perfect, not to large to feel like a truck. The perfect size to commute and had the cargo area when needed. The turbo engine gives you the power when needed on the interstate. Just a pleasure to drive.

Fast, fun and smart! All the bells and whistles and all the power. Lots of cargo space and comfort for all passengers. Treat to drive!
