Drives well. Could use a bit more power, but I can always add an APR tune if it bothers me too much. So far, I'm enjoying the driving experience very much. I needed 4 doors and had to give up my 2000 New Beetle which drives like a rocket, so it is an adjustment. The interior of the Tiguan is lovely, extremely comfortable, and very well thought out. Everything is where it should be. I'm enjoying the Fender sound system. Great turning radius. Quiet. I put new Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus tires on the 19" wheels. Improved the drive and almost eliminated road noise. Love that the headlights illuminate the side of road when turning. I live in a rural area and this is a huge help when trying to see the road and avoid running over the local wildlife.

I really do love this car. It has a compact feel while still having plenty of space. It is an SUV so mpg averages to about 25mpg. It has plenty of space but I will tell you that if you need a car that will comfortably fit 3 car seats, this is NOT it. I love that it will alert me when I need my oil change with and actual message AND prior to notification will keep track of how far until you need one! It's just a great car. Whether you're a small family of four or a college student this car fits your lifestyle.

Owned a 2010 and just purchase a used 2016. LOVE the updates to this car - make sure you get the panoramic sunroof - really opens up the whole car!

I just purchased it but it's comfortable to drive, has great acceleration for highway driving and merging. The gas mileage could be better for overall am enjoying it

This car has a peppy engine and all the amenities I wanted. The body was in great shape, too. We've found Volkswagens to be very reliable.

I really like it but very very unreliable it has left me starting on a very busy intersection very unsafe and VW SA can?t get it sorted I have had it for a year and has been in for at least three months and still not sorted. I am waiting two weeks now for a answer and still with out a vehicle I am not satisfied with the fact that they just ceep charge parts and only lost two days

My wife and I are very happy with the vehicle. It has lots of power, ride is smooth and comfortable, and the visibility is excellent

It rides well, sporty and sleek. B Not the best gas mileage but that not what appealed to me. I see a lot of them on the road, which is fine with me. It the Perfect size for me. I wish it had auto open hatch and longer seats.

I feel safe. I love the useful and neat design of the car. No fussing around, it is simple and yet complete. I like the flexibility offered for the different type of driving that I need to do. My first drive was through a snow storm and I was quite impressed with how safe the drive was despite the terrible conditions. Great addition to the family! Only wish is for an ecoboost or something to reduce gas consumption (although it is not too bad).

Depending on what you're looking for, this is a great fit for a small family or a starter car for your college student. Great highway gas mileage, acceleration is good & at 6'5" I fit comfortably.
