What a Surprise Find
My wife and I stopped at VW to drive/look at the Atlas after looking at a 4-Runner, Pathfinder, CR-V/Pilot, and Grand Cherokee. The vehicle we were replacing was a 2011 Ford Explorer- which met our needs very well, but had lots of miles. Although we really liked the Atlas, the Tiguan caught our eye as we were leaving. We drove the Tiguan and loved the size, design, warranty, 3rd row, and price. It was perfect for our family- one couple and a 10 year old child. We occasionally hauls more kids. We purchased a FWD SEL model and pricing was very aggressive from the dealer. The handling is amazing- it drives very car like and nimbly. The cabin is very quiet and the ride is comfortable. The seats feel a little firm, but it could be a new car break-in. The engine is very "torquey". It is a little slow off the line, but once moving- has tons of power. The infotainment system is very well designed and responsive- better then the Ford system. The Automatic Cruise Control is a great feature. We have had the vehicle about 2 weeks. Our MPG is quite a bit better then EPA rating. We got over 30 MPG on a 300 mile RT at 75-80 MPH and get about 24-25 around town. The only downside- there was only one SEL model at our dealer, and only 2 SE's. Luckily, the SEL was the color we wanted- blue. There were tons of "S" models. We would really liked to have seen a SEL Premium. Also- 4 motion was rare (We live in AZ- this could be regional) Pros: Value- Features, Price, and 72k mile Warranty MPG is better then advertised Features- Auto Cruise Control Blind Spot, Panoramic Sunroof Quiet and comfortable- feels elegant and refined Cons: Off the line acceleration Hard to find SE/SEL/SEL Premium models

Excellent German Engineering
Outstanding quality in engineering, the paint finish is white silver and looks wonderful under the sun. All the features for the SE model are perfect fit for us and got it with the panoramic roof which was the icing on the cake. The list of standard safety features are a plus. Drives stable and comfortable with 3rd row seating and lots of room with all seats folded down. Outstanding purchase and a keeper.

I enjoy my 2018 Tiguan
I really like the timeless exterior and interior design of the vehicle: it?s subtle hence not flashy. The digital cockpit is awesome! And the fuel eco meng is decent! I?ve compared others (CRV, RAV4, Rogue/Murano, Edge/Escape, CX5) against this one and confirmed 2018 Tiguan is the most satisfying one.

Great car!
This 2018 Tiguan exceeded by far my expectations: the size of the car, the third row seating, the 8-gear-engine, the many features included in standard, the touch screen and mobile integration!

Ndew VW Tiguan
I drove this car several times and eventually my wife purchased one. I liked driving hers and test drove several other models including an Infiniti and a BMW X1 but liked the feel of the VW best of all. Price point was a little more than a Hyundai but I felt the Tig was more solid. Haven't driven it in Ohio winter yet but it should do well with the 4 motion. Overall I'd recommend this car.
