Better than Expected

Overall, the car is excellent. I moved to this vehicle from a 2016 Passat SEL and pleased in every way. The tech is better, works seamlessly, the interior is similar, but nicer, than the Passat and the remote start is a nice step up. My concerns moving to this vehicle were the negative comments regarding power and the fuel consumption compared to rivals. I have the vehicle for about 1500 miles now and have not had any of the power issues I have read about. For my basic commuting driving , I do not feel I'm missing anything from the Passat. In regards to MPG - I've avg 27 mpg to date and avg over 32MPG over the last two long highway drives. City is avg around 22 - not as good as I would like but not outside of expectations. Only thing my family misses on this vehicle is the rear heated seats from the Passat. We have made up with this with the remote start so no real complaints. Very please so far.

Who wins?

Did a test drive today against Subaru Outback. VW the clear winner. Better ride, engine sound, handling, etc. we had decided to go Outback with our next car. Now I have to convince my wife. I hope one ride in each does it.

Tiguan is where it?s at!

This is my second Tiguan I have owned. Just recently upgraded to the 2018 high line with strong grey interior. The car is slightly bigger than the last model 2013 I owned. I had unfortugotten in an accident and the thanks to the Tiguan I was able to walk away from it. I love the new design and features!

Great car to drive

Very nice ride. Handles beautifully. Great turning radius. The big sun roof is awesome. Good fuel economy. Interior looks good. Lots of features at a very affordable price.

High quality and reasonable price

This car is great with high quality and reasonable price. You can choose 5 seats of 7 seats. If you choose 7 seats, the third row is kind of crowded for "big" person, but it's totally fine for kids or women.

Love this Car!

Meets all my needs, looks great, and gives a smooth ride. I really like the extra space that is included in the 2018 (and newer models), lots of leg room for passengers in the second seat.
