Used Acura MDX for sale near Lansing, KS under $40,000

I bought a 2018 Toyota Camry for my father recently. We were treated very well and the service delivered by our salesman (Todd) and his manager (Jason) was the best I have ever experienced. I have three grown children and have probably purchased a dozen vehicles over the years and this was the best car buying experience that I've had. Purchased a 2020 Acura MDX in August 2024. Very reliable, luxury, decent on gas that has a nice V6 engine. I like the 2 screen display, the on and off button for the radio is fairly cheap. Love the LED front lights! So far so good!

They made the whole process very easy, and I did not feel pressured at all. Amir was very accommodating to scheduling test drives and made sure the whole process went smoothly. He even filled my 30 gallon tank prior to me picking up the vehicle!

My first MDX, absolutely love it. Gas mileage could be better in town, highway is good. I would buy the 4 seater next time not the 3 roll seat. Safety features are awesome! So many unexpected standard features. Safety features were my main concern as I have a 20 year neck injury. MDX filled all my safety issues. Honda is well made and ahead of their time.

I sold my 2004 ACURA MDX with 304,300 miles and purchased a used 2017 ACURA MDX with 95,000. So far I love this car. I am a Honda/Acura fan. First Honda had 325,000 until family member totaled it so purchased the 2004 MDX. I love MDX. The only thing I would change would have the seat pan in both the front and middle row a little deeper. It is not a deal breaker though.

Well organized operation - quality cars - excellent sales person - hassle free process - Don't offer great deals however. If you go to a another dealer, you can do better but you will have to work hard to get the better deal and probably put up with irritating car dealer tricks.

I've been driving this SUV for 32 mos. and can say that I love the acceleration and overall handling. However,the suspension is not the best (they saved the best for the Type-S). The gas mileage is just ok but you are driving a great sounding V6 versus a screaming 4-cyl. turbo. I never liked the look of prior generations and was very surprised by the stunning styling of this generation. I'm fine with the infotainment pad, it works great except for the phone charging pad which is junk. I could go either way for a touchscreen but I think that may be more distracting

I bought a 2007 chevy silverado and I love the truck . I have already have had many people who have seen it give me compliments on how nice it is and asked me where I got it from . I bought this car used in 2013 with 17,000 miles. Late 2024 it started using oil. I decided to get rid of it before it started having a lot of problems. 159,000 miles I sold it. It was needing 2 quarts of oil every 5000 miles. I did not investigate why the oil consumption was happening. Prior to the oil issue I had no problems at all. I did all of the recommended maintenance. I loved this car. Best car I ever had. I was sad to get rid of it.

Excellent. I bought this car used with about 20,000 miles. I've had it ever since, now has 147,000 miles. I have never had more than minor repairs: burned out bulbs, hood support struts. I have done all the preventative maintenance at a dealer, Honda or Acura. I have no plans to replace this car. It is one of the best cars I have ever owned. Only thing I don't like is that the rear seat doesn't fold completely flat and it requires Premium gas

My 2012 MDX was bought used with 94k miles. Since then I have driven 90k more in it and it has been fairly reliable with regular maintenance. The starter went out at 170k miles, cv joint needed to be replaced at 150k, tie rods and bearings at 140k, and 2 sets of tires as it likes to eat through them fairly quickly the way I drive. The only major issue that is causing me to sell it is the oil consumption issues that many of these are plagued with. 1 qt every 800 miles now. The performance and handling is what I have come to expect from Honda vehicles. This being my 6th Honda/Acura. With that being said, this has been the one in the shop the most out of all of them including a 1976 Honda CB750 motorcycle. Only advice would be to skip the second gen MDX and go for the 3rd gen or newer.

We answered a Craigslist ad. The price was so good we didn’t believe it was a real ad. We went to see the car, Charlie was our salesman. We weren’t sure so we left, no pressure. We took a second look, easily agreed on a deal and left a deposit. We came back to pick up the car and the price we agreed on was the final price! I expected documentation fees, all those fees most dealers try to add. We were finished in about 10 minutes, I expected an hour or more. So we started out happy and remain happy, love the car. There will be something with any used car but everything was clearly disclosed, no surprises. All of the staff were very friendly and Charlie was a great salesman. It was the best experience and we will be back, and tell our friends of course.

As I said in my review, I purchased this car from this dealership in 2017. At the time it had about 35,000 miles on it. It has been a great car. It gets 25-27mpg on the highway although it only gets 18-20 around town. The seats are comfortable and there's plenty of cargo room if you keep the third row seats down. The only thing it doesn't have that I would like is a heated steering wheel. My previous car, a 2012 GMC Denali XL, had a heated wheel, and in the winter it was really great to grab a warm steering wheel. This is a great family car and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

There was no pressure to buy anything. We were served complimentary breakfast while waiting. Everyone we came in contact with was pleasant and interested in helping me with anything I might need. The finance portion of the purchase was quick and simple. I didn't have to fill out the same info over and over. I did do the quick finance app online prior to coming in. At no time did I feel pressured or feel like they were trying to trick me into anything (like many car dealers). I was given a tour of the dealership and where to go for future service or parts. Before going home they had someone sit in the car with me and go over how to use some of the functions and even paired my phone with the Bluetooth. Very nice vehicle with good size and features. I knew what I was getting into with the infotainment system and it is fine despite a few bugs. The brakes are an issue though. The overall feel of the brake pedal was unique when I purchased it. Now two years after purchase, the dealership is saying that my brakes are squeaking because they are glazed from heavy use. I'm not a fast drive and have no need for hard braking so there is a flaw in the design

I purchased a used 2018 Acura MDX Feburary 2025.I have owned it for just over a month. Driving and handling are very solid. The interior is great--especially the seats. You will read several folks discussing the entertainment system and other controls. Really nice features, just learn how to use them correctly. The only issue I did not like was the "lane assistance" feature--so I turned it off. If you are in the market for a luxury SUV go test drive one yourself. Price, quality, and reliability are hard to beat.

I bought my 2011 MDX used with $120,000 Mi on it. I've had it almost 3 years and it now has 244,000 Mi on it and it's still going. With regular maintenance and keeping up with the oil changes the car has lasted exceptionally well. I'm very surprised at Acura and the reliability of the MDX. Like I said though regular maintenance is essential and I do not put nothing in it but premium gas. I've owned different cars of my life but the MDX I like the most. The one thing I do notice is it's not fast enough for me. It's still got enough pep to get you where you need to go but you still look good doing it without the compromise of comfort.

I love my new MDX. It is really fun to drive, as it handles well and is extremely responsive. The interior is very plush. The tech takes some getting used to, for sure — for instance, for the life of me, I cannot figure out why it shuts off whatever audio I am listening to when my phone syncs to it (CarPlay). I have the Aspec, and am still shocked that when out-the-door costs are nearly 75k (accessories, extended warranty, taxes, financing), how are heated steering wheel and key fob remote start not standard!!? You can get a vehicle at half the price with those features!!

No one looks forward to purchasing a car but I will say that the entire team at Hendrick made it easy, comfortable, fair, and dare I even say lovely. Everyone looked for ways to help, respond, and provide excellent service. The team seemed happy to be working there and it was just truly refreshing.
