Like other reviews I love this car! Comfortable, stylish, it’s inherently a Honda so likely reliable. Gas mileage not great but better than MDX of the past which weren’t nearly as fun to drive! Highly recommend this Acura. Haven’t owned one since I had a 2008 TL but I have the same happy feeling whenever I drive it, now in a very different life stage!

I have the 23 Acura MDX SH-AWD I love the ride and looks of it. I wished I would have bought one a long time ago . Just wished it got better gas mileage. But for a V6 aspirated engine. I shouldn’t complain. It’s comfortable, handles as good if not better than the Atlas I had.

Purchased a 2020 Acura MDX in August 2024. Very reliable, luxury, decent on gas that has a nice V6 engine. I like the 2 screen display, the on and off button for the radio is fairly cheap. Love the LED front lights! So far so good!

At a different Volvo dealership, my car was sitting waiting for service from the 13th. Prestige Volvo kept giving me extended wait times despite me calling to get a rough lead time before getting my car towed there. On the 29th I ran out of patience. Smythe and a few other Volvo dealerships have told me that they can see it on the same day or next if I get it towed there. I've had a good experience at Smythe with my old 99 S80, so I chose them. My car was seen the same day. The difference in service was night and day. I received a digital sign off on the work to be done, along with a video of things to look out for. I couldn't believe it. Meanwhile, I would probably still be waiting around for my car to be seen at the other dealership. I don't know what their issue was, and it no longer matters. I won't be back there ever. I bought this car used in 2013 with 17,000 miles. Late 2024 it started using oil. I decided to get rid of it before it started having a lot of problems. 159,000 miles I sold it. It was needing 2 quarts of oil every 5000 miles. I did not investigate why the oil consumption was happening. Prior to the oil issue I had no problems at all. I did all of the recommended maintenance. I loved this car. Best car I ever had. I was sad to get rid of it.

We love our 2023 Acura MDX -- handling, ride (in all modes), acceleration (definitely enough when you need it to enter the highway, etc.), interior, dependability, technology and size. This car is the perfect size for us with 3 dogs. We make lots of trips to the park and of course, to stores regularly too. We do lots of DIY projects too so we need to haul materials. The MDX offers plenty of space to do it. The gas mileage is great (25 mpg+ in the city for us) -> much better than the under 10 mpg we had been getting with our 2018 truck. Very pleased with the versatility of the MDX.

This SUV is awesome. It is surprising how comfortable and roomy is yet maneuvers so well in tight spaces like parking lots. It has a 3rd row seating which I will not likely ever use but it lays completely flat, so there is no loss of room. The rear area has plenty of room for 4 bags of golf clubs. We drove it to Las Vegas from SoCal last weekend and are really pleased with it.

My current car is a 2019 MDX. I absolutely love it. My previous car was a 2012 MDX. The only reason I don’t have that car is my daughter “totaled it” 2 days after getting her license. BUT my daughter walked away, unhurt, no broken bones, no concussion, not even a bruise. I thought the car would look like a mangled mess, just looked like it went off roading. I had no idea these were TANKS on the road. I will continue to drive these now that I know. The 2019 is very similar to the 2012, but love the apple car play, lane assist, and better gas mileage.

walked in with a particular car in mind and terms that didn’t fit. Raymond Lee was my salesperson and did not discourage me from going with what I wanted and even came up with back up plans just in case. All while keeping my desired features in mind. Even when I grew frustrated he didn’t. He remained patient and friendly. I got what I wanted at terms I agreed with and I LOVE my car! Lonnie Sherry was the fastest, most honest and kindest finance person I ever met! Mike Pascarelli the manager even personally came over to answer my questions. This is the 2nd MDX Type S I’ve owned and there are many things to like, however I think it’s deplorable they no longer offer satellite radio in the car ! Even WORSE, they no longer offer Roadside Assistance. I will NEVER by another Acura/Honda product again!!

Just traded my 2017 mdx tech for a 2023. All the improvements across the board are great. I love this car. I’m a huge Acura fan. This is my 5th Acura, 2nd mdx. Every Acura I owned has been purchased new, since 2004. I have yet to have an issue with any vehicle I have owned. I keep up on my maintenace and thats it. I usually get a new one every 5-6 years or once my odometer rolls over 120k, just so I can get a decent trade in allowance. Prior to getting my 2023 MDX, I looked at the BMW X5 for almost 20k more (not worth it) and the Audi Q7. Both are very nice looking cars and drive great. However I also own a 2011 audi a5 coupe as a weekend crusier and at 70k miles the motor blew due to excessive oil consumption. The European imports look and drive great. But the reliabilty is for xxxx. I’ve known other people who have owned them and had similar issues. Over engineered fancy looking junk. Acura is right on par with all the Euro imports as far as fancy options, performance, looks and comfort is concerned. But when it comes to reliabilty Acura blows them all away. If you are reading this and are considering a new MDX, or any Acura product, research how many older Acura’s are still on the road or for sale with a lot miles. Then compare those to older BMW’s Audi’s or Range Rovers. All those brands are at least 20% $ more for an entry level when new. Then a few years later you will see them advertised for at least 20% less then Acura’s. A repair bill for a BMW (Break My Wallet) or Audi can easily de-value the entire car. So unless money is if zero concern. Go with the MDX. It looks and drives great, and you will have long term reliability.

I've only had my 2019 Acura MDX for a few weeks, so this review is based on this version and previous experiences with the MDX. This is my 3rd MDX. I had a 2010 and a 2013 before this one. First, when people complain about old technology, it makes me laugh. I think this technology is pretty sweet. I love Apple CarPlay. I get my music and I get GPS thru Waze. My maps are always updated. The Base model has very good options, and is plenty for my needs. So far I have been impressed with my 2019 version MDX. The gas mileage is way better than my previous version (24 vs 19 mpg). It's a great riding car and so far no complaints. I really like the Acura MDX.

Meghan was sensitive to my concerns, answered all my questions, and helped make the transaction possible. Management was also very helpful answering my questions. My first MDX, absolutely love it. Gas mileage could be better in town, highway is good. I would buy the 4 seater next time not the 3 roll seat. Safety features are awesome! So many unexpected standard features. Safety features were my main concern as I have a 20 year neck injury. MDX filled all my safety issues. Honda is well made and ahead of their time.

I've been driving this SUV for 32 mos. and can say that I love the acceleration and overall handling. However,the suspension is not the best (they saved the best for the Type-S). The gas mileage is just ok but you are driving a great sounding V6 versus a screaming 4-cyl. turbo. I never liked the look of prior generations and was very surprised by the stunning styling of this generation. I'm fine with the infotainment pad, it works great except for the phone charging pad which is junk. I could go either way for a touchscreen but I think that may be more distracting

I'm at 150K miles, bought this car used and would recommend to anyone looking for a solid, reliable SUV. I change the oil every 2,500-3,000 miles, that is just a quirk with these cars. I took off a star for comfort because I absolutely hate the headrests! A small thing to be sure, but I don't like how far forward they lean, and they only adjust up or down.
