I never thought I'd say this about buying a vehicle but dealing with Island Acura and all the people in there was an absolutely wonderful experience. They gave us all the information that we wanted about the MDX Did not rush us and spent the time to tell us all the information we wanted. Surprisingly all the bad things you think about a typical car salesman they weren't. They were not overly pushy did not demand a deposit before giving us all the information we wanted. If they would've demanded a deposit, I would've walked right out. Yes, they asked for deposit. They definitely tried to sell us the vehicle, but they didn't play any games even with pricing. Yes, I did leave after the first visit because I told them I wanted to think it over. It is a pricey purchase. But the first thing I said to my son when we got back the car is, I would love to give this dealership the Buisness because they were so nice and gave us all the information we wanted and they didn't make it a horrible experience. I did purchase the MDX advance, and I love it, but one of the main things that swayed me over to that vehicle was the staff in the dealership. Tony Di Giovanni, Chris the financial advisor, Matt the delivery coordinator, Joe, Paul the salesman and others made me feel like I was buying the car from a family member that I could trust. I appreciated the fact that Tony the manager looked over the sale from beginning to end, especially because when we went back the second time without an appointment, our original salesman was not there so Tony helped us out and basically sold us the vehicle. I would definitely buy another vehicle from this dealership. It would be an absolute dream if the service department is as wonderful as the sales department. I have not yet had any dealings with the service department, but I'm sure they are just as wonderful. I have never written a review, but I felt I had to this time because everything was so wonderful.
