I bought my 03 Trailblazer used for $2,200 about 6 years ago. I have been in love with this truck ever since. Other than it being difficult to fuel, there is obviously a issue in the fuel inlet line (that I have never had checked but recently bought a 6ft. long inspection camera with LED lights on the tip to check into it) I haven't had to do anything buy but tires, a battery and change the oil in the first 5 years. I have had to put a significant amount of money into it in the last year, but only after my daughter took it off roading several times work her idiot friends that don't know a 4×4 from a passanger vehicle. So I did but front hubs, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, inner and outer tie rods on both sides, front lower control arm mounting brackets on both sides, both tail light assemblies, transmission safety interlock switch, brake light switch, cam shaft positioning sensor, Cam shaft actuator, alternator and starter. I have been chasing electrical issues and replaced the cigarette lighter and auxillary power port in the dash to resolve the OBDII port not having power. And am currently working on the brake lights not working. I know this sounds like a lot, and if you can't work on it yourself and have to pay a mechanic I'm sure it is. But all this was after 5 years of turn key driving. As well as after letting my 18 year old daughter drive it unchecked for over a month. And my wife drive it the first 5 years and absolutely refused to do any kind of maintenance on it to prevent future issues and catch the little ones before they became big ones. So if she had treated it properly and my daughter has kept the wheels on the pavement the vast majority of the work I have had to do would have never been a problem. All in all this is a strong engine in a very well designed 5 passanger midsized SUV that has 250,000 miles on it and the engine has not missed a beat. The standard issues with parts failing when they are not cared for or simply get old is about all the issues you can expect. And if you're doing it yourself working on this truck is easy. Just do yourself a favor and get a good heavy impact wrench, DeWalt has a good one with 700ft lb of torque. It will help with any suspension parts and taking off tires. Or you can get a 1/2" torque wrench and breaker bar and your set.
My experience with this truck has been great. I wouldn't sell this truck for any amount of money even work the work I'm doing to it. It's a great vehicle that has been mistreated by people who don't know better and won't listen so they can learn. Remove them from the equation and this vehicle is an owner wet dream!
i was the 3rd owner of this car, what i thought i bought was a mistake was actually a jewel of a car. I bought a 2006 rabbit 2.5 at 219,xxx miles (which i didnt know). took care of it for 3-4 years and its still running strong now at 250,xxx miles. This car feels like a race car at times but also a fun car to drive as well. of the problems i ran into, is a bad sensor. not alot to complain about there.
Love my old Taurus SEL wagon. It’s comfortable, quite, roomy and handles very well. The low rear bumper height makes it easy for my dog to jump in the back.It has humongous cargo space behind the rear seats. The twin cam engine is silky smooth and the wagon gets better than expected fuel economy.I baby it because it’s old which helps the fuel consumption.A/c works well and the power drivers seat even has a adjustable lumbar support.I will be sad when I have to retire it.There is nothing on the market from domestic manufacturers like it.
I’ll buy a European wagon next I guess no suv for me!!!
Great dealer. Helped me find exactly what I needed. And I love the vehicle. They price was good too.
They got me just the right payment for my budget. I recommend this dealership.

Have had this truck for about a year and driven it across Canada, up, around, over and through the Rockies, around the western US and have never had a moment’s concern. Every mechanic that’s changed the oil or done other regular maintenance has said, one way or another, “wish they still made them like this.”

One of Ford's best!! Great little car

Bought my car with 53k miles and now with 157k still runs smooth . Very reliable, economical and the 2.0 engine responds well at the highway . Maintenance is cheap and like any car, when is not done properly it generates cars that will present problems.
Ford Focus from 2008 til 2011 is one of the best compact cars of those years and Ford got it right. There are still lots of these cars running strong as long as maintenance was done .
I love mine and strong recommend it !
I just got this car not long ago, I needed a reliable cheap car I had a 2000 crv that got rear ended years ago I loved it,I was not happy to let that one go. This is in good shape and you would never know it has over 300,000 miles and it was well taken care of by last owner I love it I will drive it till it's falls apart
We were very pleased with our experience at Bickmore Auto. Looking for a car for a teenager can be a less than desirable experience. Bickmore helped us get a decent car for a fair price that came with a 3 month warranty.

Drive it like you stole it. Replace ball joints and fuel filters without complaining. If you hit small objects don't fret about fixing it...Its a truck!
Most comfy car i have ever owned. I lost my v card in this box and i have never had a more comfortable experience. May have been my only experience but that isn't the point. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a bedroom on wheels.
I found a car I liked on Cars.com and sent an email to inquire about it. Their Salesman Darrell got back to me very quickly and offered another similar vehicle, that was lower mileage and only had one owner. We went in to test drive and purchase the vehicle and we were out in a couple hours. He even found some crayons for my daughter to play with while the paperwork was going through.

Moving on up in mileage! Thank you Lord

Bought my 2007 in 2011 and still driving it today (April 2023) with over 265,000 miles. Thought about trading it in in 2022 the Lord said keep driving it and I will take care of your next vehicle just like I have the last two.
After totaling my previous car and finding myself unexpectedly and urgently needing a new vehicle, I frantically searched online for something that caught my eye. I needed something reliable and built to last, without breaking the bank (especially as I had no time to save up after the accident). I found the car of my dreams through a search on Cars.com: a beautiful black Volvo XC90 with very low mileage, and it was actually within my budget! I didn't get my hopes up too high because I worried the dealer wouldn't be able to work with someone who had very little established credit (I'm still in my 20's and haven't had credit for very long), on top of wanting monthly payments as low as possible. I was shocked and absolutely ecstatic to find that the salesman was determined to find a bank with whom I could finance and get the low monthly payments I needed, and he really followed through!! I found Eastside Auto Sales to be a pleasure to work with. They got the job done, were very friendly, answered all of my questions, and made a process that could have been a real headache into a total breeze. I love my new vehicle, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Professionalism at its best

When I walked onto the lot, the manager came out and I was expecting some heavy handed sales pitch. What I got instead was a friendly conversation with an invitation to ask about any cars I saw. Once I knew what I wanted, every question I could think of was answered and every response was genuine and knowledgeable. Throughout the whole process I was involved step by step as to what they were doing, why it was being done and when it would be finished. Wish I had found this place sooner as I will be recommending everyone to them in the future.

This truck is great. The Hybrid provides excellent gas mileage in city driving conditions and the 6.0 handles everything I needed it to do. The inside is spacious and comfortable
Was looking for a used truck and ended up buying an S10 4X4 from Dave's. Overall the experience was nice (although a bit long to complete the paperwork) and drove the truck home (had 1/2 tank when we drove it off the lot). On the way home, the Service Engine Light (SEL) came on and pulled the code(s) when I got home as I have an OBD2 reader. Turns out O2 sensor was bad (fairly common and easy/cheap to replace) so I didn't make a big deal about it. However, next day I filled up the tank and ended up dumping around 5 gallons of gas on the gas station from a leak in the tank. Called Dave and negotiated how much he'd pay towards the repair (we agreed on 50/50. Had it towed to local Chevy dealer and quote was around $1,500. Provided Dave with copy of quote and without hesitation, he cut me a check.

This car was able to meet all of our family's needs, it has plenty of space inside for both, people and cargo. The ride is extremely comfortable even on the bumpy roads, no headaches whatsoever.
Great process. No pressure at all and got everything done in a timely manner. I really like how laid back everyone was, but I still got all the attention I needed. Highly recommend.

Bought my 02 DeVille 3 months ago now, despite all my mechanic friends warning me to stay clear of northstar power plant due to their bad rep of blown head gaskets, eating oil, gasket leaks and just being generally hard to work on (ie. starter located under intake manifold) with complex electrical systems. I love the styling and with a perfect body, 9 code engine that was unbelievably healthy for 151k mi, I handed the previous owner the $1800 cash he was asking about 2 min after test ride I needed to check the vin. Awesome car
Great Dealership with Huge inventory to select from. My salesman "Michael" was very professional and great problem solver as had not intended to buy on same day. Very competent young man. Will buy from again!!! Eric B.

Bought this 1993 Ford Taurus GL station wagon new.
Let tell you what I have spent money on her.
Water pump replaced , One radiator hose, taillight bulb 4 times,( did
myself). break job 4 times, change new battery 4 of them, 5 sets of
tires. change oil and filter. give her good gas, Shell. It has 125489
miles on it. Just made an hundred mile trip to central valley yesterday
. She runs fine at 70 to 75 seen no highway patrol of course.
Engine, radiator, transmission, power steering, air conditioner and
heater are all original. Ford 3.0 V6 should cars all be. When I tell
people about her they all look at me with wide opened eyes.
Out of state buyer, I purchased my 1970 Ford Torino. My sales person was Terry throughout the whole process. Not sure other buyers in past didn’t do their research before buying but overall this company and sales person Terry took care of me and worked with me. I hired a Mechanic to look at the vehicle we came to an agreement that satisfied both of us. Had my car delivered and was very pleased with my purchase. Thank you so much. I’ve been waiting so long to get my old car and relive my past!

Perfect utility vehicle

I bought my first (sadly dream car) after selling my c3500 for a 2004 pt cruiser last year. Now at first it was the cheapest quickest car I could buy in a flash due to growing family. However the little Chrysler that could grew on me. I bought it with just over 150k km and quickly got just under 200k km. Now I know many will judge; but this little car went almost 50k km without any work or any oil changes or maintainance. I should mentioned this cars from way up north Canada so she sees ALOT of road salt snow and mud. Also I should mention this car is my and my sons “hunting buggy” we have over sized off-road tires and 30% of the time it’s running mud and gravel roads/off-roading. Only recently have I had to change my power steering hose and have a wheel bearing, hub, alignment and a new set of tires thrown on it. That’s incredible for those of you that don’t know. Now she does have her quirks like the interior lights due to rke module and the power locks (same issue) but unlike most vehicles, just pull one fuse and problem fixed; you just don’t have power locks (boo-hoo) It’s also loud on the interior when you pull the seat from the back and haul cargo. But good luck turning your civic into a pickup truck with more issues. Long story short this has now been the second longest lasting and most reliable vehicle I’ve owned aside from aforementioned truck that I had 10k$ Custom builds into. Now she’s been running myself wife and three kids (yes this car fits three car seats and weekends worth of camping gear) for a little over a year without any issues other then I’ve caused.
