2024 BMW X1 xDrive28i review
A nice vehicle with some quirks
The 2024 BMW X1 is nimble and responsive. It has an excellent memory for self-driving the car to back out of tight parking spots along the path the driver used to get into it. The car feels spacious inside and is easy to get into. My observed hwy mileage is 36mpg @ 75mph and 22mpg in suburban driving. It’s defects are: 1) the driver must learn how to start from a stop to avoid a sluggish pick-up or a sudden forward jerk; 2) the owner’s manual does not include directions for setting up the electronics, so the owner must resort to a complex cryptic in-car system that is difficult to sort through; 3) the built-in navigation system's is hard to use; the owner will resort to Waze or Car Play; 4) the car is bumpy on rough surfaces, and vibrates like a massage unit on washboard.

Exceptional service. Recently, I purchased 2 vehicles from ECarOne in Plano TX. My experience with ECarOn from my Sale advisor Dau Nguyen to Ash Osman in Finance was smooth and painless. Once we arrived at the dealer, cars were in front ready for us to test drive. With Dau's help, we were in and out with the new cars in a very short time. We got two beautiful and in almost brand new condition cars, a 2021 Maserati GranLusso Levante for myself and a 2024 BMW X1 for my daughter. Ash was easy to deal with, he did not hassle me into something I dont want and gave me a good deal on the extended warranty which I asked for. I found my car dealer in TX now, and I will be back in the future. I strongly recommend Dau Nguyen and ECarOne if you are looking for used luxury cars in great condition at good prices.
