It's all about the B58 in the M40i.
It's all about the B58 in the M40i. I dinged it one star on comfort because this little SUV rides quite "sporty" even in Comfort mode. I absolutely love this about the car, but I could see how some would feel this is too harsh as it is not a luxurious, cushy ride. But tuck this little beast into a fast corner and it's just...wow! This little German SUV is a sleeper. While the X3M is very nice, the M40i is the perfect balance in my opinion. BMW has really stepped up their game in the X3.

We were wonderfully surprised by the outstanding customer service advisors. Over the years I have to come to know Mariana Raga as my car advisor. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Mariana keeps me up dated on what needs to be done to care for my car, what I can expect the cost will be and helps to find best solutions for any difficulties that might arrive. She gives me the feeling that I have a person who cares about me. and listens to what I describe as issues. She is one of the reasons, after reviewing all of the similar competitor SUV’s for 2026, I decided to buy another BMW x5 hybrid.
