I almost purchased a vehicle from BMW of Ramsay, and even though I did not, it was still a great experience. Frances, my sales rep, was great. Frances sat with me and we narrowed down myriad options into three discrete choices. Frances was response with texts, and let me take as much time as I wanted in viewing cars.

i had an issue with a bad transfer case on a 2013 328i. I had complained of a noise in that car for a year or so but it was never formally documented in service log. Finally it was found that it was the transfer case.. 4K part. my extended warranty was over. I was very upset. however, i want to thank Tim Stone, Service manager and John the deal GM for going out of their way to look at this matter and at the end fix it with no charge. I really appreciated their efforts! They were sensitive to a customers predicament and did the right thing. Thank you! However, my experience with BMW North America Customer Service was horrible. Those folks know absolutely nothing about cars. Why do they work at BMW? Not a good front for BMW to have folks that do not know literally nothing about BMW or mechanics answering phones and talking to clients. She also told me that i could not speak to anyone above her as her manager was HR and did not know cars. Hmmm, i hope someone at BMW headquarters is reading this.

My Takata airbag inflated was recalled for my vehicle. I left the car with Jim Reed who took care of it within a matter of hours. It turned out that the airbag in my car wasn’t defective and what I thought would be a 2day wait, turned out to be a 4hr wait which was of very little inconvenience for me. Uber to and from the dealership cost me $45 which was much better than having to rent a vehicle. The attendees were very reassuring, accommodating and pleasant.

I purchased a used car from Greenwich BMW and couldn’t be more pleased with the process. As an out of state buyer, I was concerned with the potential tax and DMV issues. My sales person was very professional and answered all my questions and explained the process thoroughly. Upon arrival, the car was in impeccable condition, as stated in the advertisement and they honored the trade in value discussed over the phone. The loan process was quick and there were no surprises! Always friendly and honest service. I bought a CPO Escape from Stamford Ford a number of years ago. There was a stupid problem with Ford Credit - it was enough to make me cancel the order. When Dominic found out about it, he called Ford Credit and told them to get it right. They did, and Dominic called me back and made the deal happen! Since then, Ive been bringing my Escape to them for service. They are reliable, friendly, and HONEST. Scott Ferrara in service is THE BEST! I noticed a number of reviews with regards to lack of communication while vehicle is in service, especially having a person answer the phone. This appears to have started since Covid. I'm guessing that it is because it seems harder to get good help these days. This is not unique to any dealership or brand. In fact, I have another brand of car that I bring to another dealership. By comparison, this other dealer does not deserve to clean the floors at Stamford Ford. The service advisors at Stamford Ford provide you with a cell phone # you can text if you need to, which is a lot easier than getting though via phone. Again shout out to Scott in Service!!
