Just bought the BMW X7.Overall a great ride. The interior needs help. Your phone is charged behind you drinks. Who thought of that. There is no place in the car to store your phone at all. Only two cup holders up front. Me pesonally have a dog and he needs his cup too. Trunk has no storage compartments. Hello, we have stuff. The front seats seem a little tight. A lot to learn with all the apps Overall a great car little thought on the details.

Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! I bought a 2021 BMW X5 4.0 with the M Sports Package and this had been one of best vehicles ever owned. The reliability, comfort and curb appeal adds to it value. I traded a 2016 Lexus GX 460 for the X5 and have no regrets!

I researched and found the low mileage Porsche Macan Turbo in the color and desired options. Only about 6 cars in the Southeast that met the desired specification. Great price- lower than some higher mileage Macan Turbos in the used car market. Fair value on my trade and easy buying experience.

The main issue I've had with this car is learning its vast number of controls, some of which are in strange places (such as at the end of the directional signal stalk) and are not clearly marked. The gearshift, for example, is counter-intuitive, and is moved backwards to go forwards, and vice versa-unlike most cars, it doesn't really move and fit into a slot for the appropriate gear. For no fathomable reason, the rear view camera stays on when you then drive forward. The warning system, for a car crossing or a person crossing, is unreliable; for example, if you have the car in reverse, the car hasn't moved yet, but a person walks behind the car, the warning signal does not sound--it only sounds if the car is already moving in reverse (if the pedestrian was walking right behind the car, you already hit him or her). There are also other "features" that make no sense. On the other hand, the car is fun to drive, reasonably powerful, attractive (I think--my wife disagrees), comfortable (except that one feels remarkably many bumps in the road), and quiet.

Love my X5! Gives us room we need to travel heavy! This vehicle is amazing. It is super comfortable and the technology is amazing. I am a super proud BMW owner!

1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

I’ve owned two 2015 X5D’s - daily driven for 7 years for a combined 173,000 miles (sales job), I averaged 29MPG on each tank in mixed driving (38+mpg on hwy using renewable diesel in CA), and it’s been so much more reliable than any gas car I’ve owned… The only car that compares in reliability is two BMW 328 diesels I’ve owned - I’m not going back to gas cars. I may consider Cayenne diesel as the only other alternative daily driver, otherwise I’ll stay with X5 diesels.

Awesome to drive. Smooth around curves. Barely feel bumps in the road. Most comfortable seats ever had. Solid. Beautiful interior and exterior! Easy to park. Lots of room!

I have owned many BMW's over the last few decades so you could say I am a fan and well versed. Recently I decided it was time to move into my next 3 series. I opted to go certified pre-owned because of the quality and the unlimited mileage warranty. News cars are bad value in my opinion. I stopped by BMW on South Blvd on a whim and was paired up with Zack. He took great care of me and was happy to provide me with any and all information that I asked for. I selected this beautiful blue 3 series they had at a sister store. They had it brought over within the hour and I drove home in it that evening. I couldn't be happier 10 of 10 would buy from him again the next time I decide to trade up.

Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.
