I bought my 2005 Buick rainier new in 2005 a custom order with the 5.3 V8 engine the only thing I have had to do to this car is regular maintenance now I have put 210,000 miles on it and the car still has no problems everything still works on it including On star and it is still getting about 15 MPG for in town commuting

Love the car..I'm a mechanic by trade and the car was actually givin to me for free because it had some engine noise due to a Walmart oil change so I just replaced the v8.didnt think I would like it as much as I do.hit a deer and just bought another for replacement parts.its dependable ok on gas considering it a V8 all wheel drive.interior is nice and roomy tows a trailer great love the air ride..one of the best Cross over suv I have ever owned.

I bought my Rainier when it had 6,800 miles. I only recently sold it with 236,000 miles on it. I tried to find a low-mileage Rainier as a replacement, but apparently everyone who owns one keeps it until it has high mileage. The Rainier was very reliable for me. The only major thing I ever had done was replace the air suspension components. It cost around $1k to do, but was well worth it to keep the excellent ride it always had. It was truly a great vehicle to own and drive, and I'm surprised more people didn't buy one.

I have owned my Buick Rainier since 2015 I have had only one issue and that was being able to turn sharp curves or corners...I got stuck in a drive thru window. Had to go over the curb. We removed the front axle so I am not all wheel drive. I only have a rear wheel drive and I can turn on it on a dime. I love my reindeer. A dime

Very happy with the 04 Bjick Rainier CXL... purchased it used with 90K miles ....The 4.2L, IL 6 cyl is a good fit in this model....very comfortable, well designed and capable.....The AWD does excellent in snow, with all season Bridgestone Dueller tires, the Rainier walked right through 8" of snow covered, un maintained, Ozark Mountain roads...never lost traction once in a 30 mile trip....Fits our family perfectly with plenty of cargo space....Nicest vehicle we've owned.
