This is a surprisingly great vehicle to drive. The plastic trim parts are poorly executed and rattle, but it can't be beat for drivability. It's also much cheaper to service than my prior Mercedes Sprinter

Great cargo van - just what we were looking for to convert into a camping base camp for hiking and fishing excursions in our retirement.

My husband and I was wanting to purchase a Toyota truck but wasn't in a hurry. Driving buy we seen one and stopped. Sean greeted us with a big smile, you could tell he was a people person. We looked at one and wanted to see more. He said we have numerous more in our back lot, he started pulling them up on his phone and when we liked one he drove it around for us, so we didn't have to do any walking. Then we went inside and Nathan had us financed and driving away in less than 30 mins. The interest rate was unbelievable, so the payment was less than we planned. He asked us what we wanted to put down. We walked out with a package that covered 2 yrs/26 thou miles. Customer service is very rare to find anymore, but this Dealership has the friendliest staff. Even the 4 paws associate Gunner was exceptionally friendly. Very comfortable doing business.

I didn't buy for looks or luxury, I bought for use and it has done a excellent job. I can carry plenty of gear and even have did some van camping.

These vans are better built than the competition. Granted Sprinters require a higher level of maintenance and a mechanic who is experienced with these vans. Also parts will cost more but they will outlast any other van if properly maintained.

Friendly staff, great price for the car. There was a far bit of waiting around but with the volume of cars they are shifting on a daily basis, it was kind of expected. From the very short test drive to driving out with my car was around 45 minutes.Would definitely use then again.

Need the smallest cargo van for travel. The cargo area offers huge space and the acceleration and ride are fine. Lack of road noise (on decent roads) was a pleasant surprise. I wish there was a larger center console with closable storage. Appreciate that the battery is easily accessible and there is a full size spare. Plenty of light in the cargo area. Fun to drive

the kids made no sounds when i threw them in the back the walls are so thick it help quiet there screams. IVE NEVER been so happy in my 65 year old life

A vehicle like this isn’t designed to be the most comfortable or the most luxurious but ford did a great job with the basics and if your used to driving a work van this meets all the requirements and makes up for a few of the little things by adding adjustable tow mirrors, good seat adjustments, and simple luxuries like Bluetooth and backup camera. I have the basic version low roof and they are some noises I can hear from under the vehicle when it’s empty but honestly it’s a Ford work van... not an RV with insulation and flooring designed to keep noises to a minimum. Drives smooth and takes the abuse of daily driving well. Keep it clean and maintained and it will take care of you.

I bought the Sprinter to replace a pick up truck with a shell. I was tired of crawling in and out of the shell. I bought the 2500 with the high roof and I can walk around in the back without even feeling like I need to stoop over (I'm 6 feet tall). I am getting between 21 and 22 MPG. It has surprising acceleration and lots of torque. Very comfortable and quiet. A nice bonus is that my customers react very positively to the Sprinter, I think it gives me more credibiltiy as a serious craftsperson. I enjoy working out of the Sprinter and I'm glad that I bought it.

The Ford Transit 250 I have, 3.7 V6, 4:10 diff, High Roof Extended Body, is awesome! It is very dependable, and keeps my business making money. Pros:Power, Dependability, Comfort, Ease of Interior Control functions, Excellent Range of View from the Drivers seat. Awesome Heater in the Winter, as per usual for Ford. BEST THING about my Ford Transit, is the level of Service provided by my local dealer service department “Ray VARNER Ford, in Clinton Tennessee. From the initial purchase experience with the Sales Team, to regular servicing (oil changes & tire rotations) with Service Team, they are simply the best! Much better, and more reasonable than the former German owned brand that I had at a much higher cost overall. (Can you say $10k in service over 3 years of ownership with the German 3.0 Turbo Diesel to keep rolling....Ouch!) Cons:There needs to be better Gas & Brake Pedal Clearance for Contractors oversized Boots/Footwear. I sometimes find one of my Boots trapped beneath a pedal if I rest it on the floor momentarily. The front steering feedback from the road is a bit too light for my liking, but I run almost at 9,000 pounds at all times, very close to the GVWR, and the tires up front feel as though they are struggling to maintain road contact while on a winding road. The Air Conditioning while excellent as usual for Ford (Very Cold Air) could use another higher blower speed, as the AC struggles to cool to the levels of comfort of other brands, and models (even Fords) that I’ve experienced in the past. The 148” wheelbase needs to extended to 170” as on some steeper driveway or parking lot entrances the rear bumper corners will contact the pavement surface (drag), and slightly damages (scrapes/scratches) the underside of the bumper. I did not have this issue while driving the same approaches in a previous vehicle that had a 170” wheelbase, and an approximately 20” longer body. Lastly the standard sized Alternator should provide more output, without upgrading to the high output Alternator. My reasoning is that my Interior L.E.D Lights should not dim down while idling with the 4-way flashers on. Lastly, the Start Battery/Batteries under the drivers seat are difficult to access. I added a second battery to mine, and had to remove the drivers seat to install. When it comes time to replace the battery, I can only imagine how much downtime I will experience changing out a battery compared to one that is mounted traditionally under the hood. (Keep things simple/don’t Over Engineer items) Things I would like on my next new Ford Transit 250/350 1. 170” Wheelbase. 2. 20” longer extended body. 3. Higher Output Standard Alternator. 4. More weighted front end steering feedback/feel with a loaded vehicle weight. 5. AC/Heater Blower extra high speed selection. 6. High Roof front and rear high mounted sensors to alert with a separate sounding tone/buzzer to alert when approaching building awnings or overhangs. I’ve never hit anything (yet) but find it difficult to judge if the roof will clear a customers awning or roof overhang. Another option would be to mount a front high roof camera, and an option to change the viewing of the rear mounted camera, from looking down to the bumper, to projecting straight back to a building awning/overhang. 7. Start/Accessory Batteries properly located under the hood in the Engine Compartment. Overall this is the best, most dependable vehicle for work that I have ever owned, and will definitely be buying more Ford Transit 250/350’s in the future even if there are no changes made to the current platform. We found a vehicle online and visited the dealership to check it out. The salesperson was very helpful and allowed us to negotiate a fair price on the trade-in and car in which we were interested. One hint though: if you use the online method make sure you read the fine print on the price listed.

I really love it. I like it more than I thought I would when I bought it. The basic vinyl driver's seat is very comfortable and the vehicle handles like a car. Good pick up, not sluggish at all. Good turning ratio. The side view mirrors with blind spot mirrors incorporated provide excellent coverage so that I have no worries when changing lanes. Since I don't have back window glass, I had a back up camera installed and it works great. Good gas mileage for a work van- about 16 miles per gallon when empty. No complaints. I like that I can use regular gas and there is no engine knock under load. I added running boards which is a tremendous benefit when getting things out from the van and also putting things in. The interior is spacious and there is plenty of room to pack in a lot of stuff. I did not add shelving but kept the entire space available for carrying around tools and materials for the jobs. At first I wasn't sure of the new design (2015) but have gotten used to it and I really like it now. The overall styling of the van is great and a pleasure to drive.
